I remember the 70’s film terrifying me as a kid. There was also a TV series ‘The Invaders’ from the 60’s that I used to watch as a teenager. This type of horror has always scared me, people not being who they should be. An episode of Hammer House of Horror gave me nightmares for a long time, I think it was called ‘The two faces of evil’ great 80’s horror in the vein of body snatchers. I will definitely be reading the book!
The 70s film would have terrified me too if I’d watched it when I was younger! Is really creepy! Completely agree that this sort of horror is particularly scary - the psychological side of it really messes with me! Is very effectively done in the book, hope you enjoy it when you get to it! 👍😀
