Must wear accessory for me is definitely a watch. I would really like to pose this question tho, do you think the popularity of the air pods max is due to the widespread popularity of 2000’s fashion? Where over the head head phones were super prominent? Imo it looks so retro but at the same time futuristic. Food for thought
I could never leave the house without a watch. They look great and my time management is terrible so having a watch improves my life so much. I love that Y2K fashion is big now. It's such a fun time period.
I work as an optician at a premium eyewear boutique and have a few recommendations of brands to check out: Eyevan is a classic Japanese brand and has a few sub-brands that are all worth checking out. Eyevan 7285 is my favourite and its all modern takes on vintage shapes. They made all the original Oliver Peoples frames. The 163 (48) sunglass is one of my favourite frames from them. Dutil was created by someone who worked for Oliver Peoples for 20+ years. All the frames are made in Japan and the general design language is minimalist vintage. Jacques Marie Mage is a pretty new brand but are taking the eyewear world by storm with their bulky maximalist frames. Kendrick wears the whiskey-clone. I have Jax which was modeled after a frame jackson pollock wore. Lapima is a brazilian brand thats sort of like the JMM of the womens eyewear world. Their frames are made in Brazil which acetates that are inspired by the Brazilian landscapes
I just recently started to appreciate how much does accessories bring to outfits. It is great that you can easily make your outfit a lot more smarter and fashionable. Great video as always
I think the future of headphones (at least over-ears) is being able to buy the different colours as bits that you can swap out for each fit. Buying different headphones for different looks is dumb
My go-to accessories are definitely novelty earrings! Dangling ones are my favorite as it doesn’t feel too heavy or inconvenient to wear around. Its very fun styling them for different outfits^^. Jewelry in general is what i gravitate towards the most these days
I've always focused more on hats in my accessories. i place a lot of important on my hair but when i don't have the time to curl it (a lot of the time), i always need a good hat to finish the silhouette. love that you're coming out with a headwear tour. I'm excited to see it! 🧢
Sigil is an NYC-based jewelry brand that my friend started, and she handmakes everything herself. I love the necklace I bought from her and definitely will be adding more to my collection.
Congrats on your sponsor! Mine has to be my watch with my interchangeable nato strap! The nato strap is great for the summer, they are relatively cheap and you can change them up to match your outfit.
I am a big fan of belts. I wear a belt every day and they are always more intricate statement belts. I get a lot of them from jaded london they are a great brand for belts that can be styled in all types of ways. I wear a lot of cropped and tight fitting t shirts so a belt is a great way to break up a fit. I find that i wear a lot of black, white, grey, and brown T shirts but with more brighter color pants so a belt that contrasts with the top allows the t shirt to go well the pants. I might wear a black t shirt and some brighter colored pants but with a white belt so that the contrast comes out more. Or i wear a black belt to break up a bright t shirt and a bright pair of pants. It's also great because you can change the position your pants sit on you. You can wear it closer to your hips or bring it up to your belly button. A good belt is a MUST for any of my fits
When it comes to belts I see a lot of people starting to stack 2 belts on an outfit. Personally, I like the look it gives off but I was wondering how other people feel about it.
My n1 go to accessory is definitely my golf wang golden flower pendant I’ve wearing this necklace every single day for couple of years now and it is one of the best purchases i ever did
Great video. I’m too trying to learn and experiment more with accessories. Typically used to only focused on jewelry but now loving to style hats bags and sunglasses. But I agree that belts are so hard to find and I don’t want to settle, still on the search for the perfect one.
I recently saved up enough to buy headphones and yknow it sorta is a look! Also my go to's are definitely rings, I have a set of 3 skinny silver ones (I love silver!!!) But in the winter I love scarves as accessories.
pvv answer definitely gotta be a watch. I've been rocking a $20 silver casio for around 2 years now and the retro look just goes with so many things :D
u should drip down in some rings! i feel like that would be the cherry on top to your personal style. maybe a chrome hearts forever ring? 👀 that’d be a clean statement piece to an outfit
the only accessory ive drooped a considerable amount of money on is a small thin gold chain. i think everyone should cop one, there just simple, timeless, go with everything and just elevate your look without looking like you are showing off wealth
Been fucking with Warby Parker since my high school days haha. Get the #3 frame for everyday use and maybe #1 or #5 for an extra pair for variety/styling/etc.
Headphones as accessories is no way a 2020-2022 thing. Cyberpunks have been wearing it since... 20 years ago probably lol One more time, alt clothing being years ahead of mainstream trends~
My go to is probably the 2 chains and 2 bracelets I wear daily. But if I happen to go to the nearby city or sum my essential for that is my vicinity bag
Accessories would have to be a watch, a belt or either suspenders. They elevate an outfit so much. I tend to dress up a lot so having these three things gives me just the edge of being more well put together 🦧
PVV - My go to accessory is my casio A168. I really love being able to have the time on me, no only does it look great but i find it calming to always have access to the time no matter the situation. But I usually have on a couple of chains, a bead bracelet and a ring or 2. I always have my Casio on tho
My everyday headphone is the plattan 2 bt from urbanears. Great price, looks amazing, and has ok sound quality. The brand is very in tune with how the products present themselves when worn. I really hope that in the future name brands start to care about how their headphones look, 95 percent of the options are just clunky and distracting.
idk where you are from but urbanears plattan was HUGE a couple years ago in Scandinavia, saw them everywhere wouldnt be suprised if they made a big comeback with the new headphone trend on the rise. the brand is Swedish I believe and they clearly design with scandinavian minimalism in mind.
#pvv, my go to accessory has been a hat. I'm growing my hair out rn, so ya boy's gotta cover his ugly hair. I've been experimenting with hat styles a lot recently, I was really into the dad hat look back in 2017 but just recently got into fitteds. I found they look really clean and work with a lot of different types of outfits. Because I work in the academic world, I have to own some more traditional clothing, so I used to wear a ton of watches, but I've found myself not really liking them recently. I usually just have a colored string tied around my wrist (or ankle in the summer) until it falls off.
In my opinion Apple has always made sure to make thier products more appealing and aesthetic to the public. I know people who gets their products just for the look. I can also say the same for polaroid cameras , record players etc being used as room decor rather than a functionality thing .
My go to accessory is my koss porta wired headphones, also I thrifted cool wired hello kitty headphones for 1€! I think it’s cool to buy unique headphones, it levels up all outfits. But the apple headphones are not my favorite❤
definitely gotta be a watch got one recently after my papaw passed because he used to wear one all the time but gotta say i'm starting to lean towards cologne and fragrances because smell is just as much a part of the look it starting to seem for me if that makes sense
This made me realize that my accessories are almost like what a crow does when they collect shiny objects lmao. I often wear a beaded bracelet that I found while walking around a parking lot, same for one of my rings (it's literally just a keyring that someone ran over, it got squished enough to fit perfectly on my finger lol). Another one is a travelling charm bracelet that I found at a thrift store with my sister: it has a handful of slightly corroded charms that were collected by whoever owned it last in their travels. Another one is a tiny metal dinosaur pendant my niece found at a gas station. I'm basically a walking lost and found box
11:15 why would it be jarring ? Clothes as essential as that are meant to be worn for that long. I always have the rule with clothing that i first off get essentials u can easily combine and that they will last a lifetime. After that i only start exploring weirder more out there stuff, thats something u should be proud of
headphones feel like a bit of a microtrend, along with the oakley style sunglasses. imagine it'll be over before next year. most of the times i see it, it feels a bit like theyre trying too hard in a way
the airpod maxes grind my gears as someone who is very specific with their headphones. airpod maxes are certainly not worth their price point because, let's be real, what headphones could be ?? my headphones were $70 and are AMAZING. but no company like apple could make worthwhile headphones that cost half a grand. it's just the pinnacle of consumerism for me - why spend so much on something that isn't even that high quality?
6:21 - You gave a VERY important tip for men - If there is no story or meaning behind it, there's NO reason for men using these accessories, specially for jewelry / bling bling. 💎🏅🎖️👑💍🪙 For the bags... I only use a functional backpack 🎒 ... NO totbags allowed
"Lesser of 2 Evils" is just iconic as far as stainless steel jewelry goes. I've been wearing the same hoops from them for 4 months *haven't taken them out once* and I've had none of the usual problems that come with constantly wearing pieces.
Hats and sunglasses are the 2 accessories I use most but I think sunglasses are the accessory that can affect the outfit the most because they’re on your face so it gives u a more defined look with different styles of glasses.
Other people have said it, but I wear a watch everyday and it's easily the most important accessory for me. My daily is a really simple but durable little round faced Timex with a canvas band. Feel naked without it tbh
PVV: my most favourite favourite accessories that i cant take anywhere without me are 1. MY KEYCHAINS!!! i have a lil bowl by my door where i have all my little keychains and i change them out everyday on my carabiner with my keys. my other favs are definitely watches and bracelets and then after that are my mecklaces, spent way too much at vivienne on necklaces LOL. PVV GANG FOREVER
My go to accessories are pearl necklace, pearl earrings or hoop earrings, watch, and bucket hat. I think they’re very easy to pair up with any outfits, yet they add interesting elements. Love your videos btw! New sub here:)
I'm a hat person first then comes cool shades and minimal jewelry. Love the content Drew! And btw, I wouldn't rock a cap either after getting a fresh clean haircut like you got! 😉 Keep'em coming Drew! Peace and love bro✌♥
Something I love that I haven't noticed anyone else do is subtly wearing a bandana in my bun, I've got iirc 7 different colors with classic paisley, one of which even has tie dye, so it's amazing for that bit of continuity I often want in my palette, or those black and white accents to pull it together. Also looks sick just barely showing as a sort of collar, tucked under something bulky like an oversized hoodie + relaxed denim jacket combo, nice and warm when it gets colder too.
My must wear accessory is my Casio watch, it suits a casual look and a more dressed up one and they are pretty affordable too and I like the retro look #pvv

Buy eyewear from eyewear brands! They are a different calibre of quality and design
Can’t leave the house without a watch and my day to day jewelry, just makes every basic outfit soo damn nice
I think the one thing that is fundamental is watching a Drew joiner video every Sunday
PVV - accessories are probably a staple for me and I cannot go out without them, hats or bandanas, pearl necklaces, beaded bracelets, and rings.
I just recently started to appreciate how much does accessories bring to outfits. It is great that you can easily make your outfit a lot more smarter and fashionable.
Great video as always
At this time as a fashion collector you buy something for the future not consuming cause you feel young 2000s
I think the future of headphones (at least over-ears) is being able to buy the different colours as bits that you can swap out for each fit. Buying different headphones for different looks is dumb
That's a genius idea.

cool I will look into it!
my newest accessory is a key chain that I clip onto my belt loop, its so convenient to have keys there and it adds a small detail to outfits
LOVE THE SMIRK YOU HAVE WHEN SHOWING US THE GLASSES :D
Butler frame looks the best it fits your head shape 👍🏼
