Congratulations, you have done a good job throughout the tour. And the best prize was your daughter's admiration !!! Remember ..... you can do it !!!! Greetings from Argentina!!!
Thanks! Enjoyed that. What bike are you riding? I need something more like that... I'm riding trails quite a bit easier but doing it with a YZ450F... without a lot of experience... It really doesn't want to go slow enough. Lol. Just got too good a deal on it... but am now looking for the right bike for where I ride.
My bike is a 16 Husky TE250. I rode a 09 YZ450f for a little while as a single track bike, and a friend that was at this race rides a YZ450, it can do it but it is a struggle and definitely not the ideal machine for hard enduro.
@@zabrow187 Thanks... so about 15 lbs lighter and geared a LOT better. Having electric start is a BIG help after a while. Mine usually starts on the 1st or 2nd kick but a friend I usually ride with frequently takes a lot more... that alone wears him out. Lol.
markmtbrider there were a couple KDX’s out there. Tyler Shepardson from OTP podcast was on one, there is a picture of him laying in a creek after the race.
Around the 14 minute mark.... them bottlenecks were at every single difficult thing on the two goat races I did. Was impossible to get a clean run at anything. You can sit and wait for it to clear but everyone coming up behind would jump ahead and clog it further so it would be a inch up and wait and inch up and wait up every hill. Fuck that. Glad I just watched this year, but honestly looked very doable other than chicken fight and you really had clean runs at most everything.
GyroRon bottle necks weren’t terrible and honestly the afternoon race was probably easier, the course had a chance to dry out and less people being stuck in weird places.
Robert Rips The farther from Saturday I get, the more I think I should’ve gone back for another one. I was gassed, but live and learn. Next year I’m making it to Sunday.
"you got an hour 55. No I Don't!" Love that!!!! Great lap!!! Thanks for sharing!!
21:35 This is hard enduro. At least for us mortals. Tough ride man, nice push! Live to fight another day! ... and get a new LiON battery lol
Rocco N April Thanks! It wasn’t my battery the magnets in my starter broke free and jammed my starter.

And that was only the qualifier? That's crazy man! Good job!
Solid effort man! I hate I couldn’t be there for you and buddy.
good video, great attempt. There was no traction anywhere on the loop.

your e-start wasn't working? Now I have to quit complaining about my yz250x not having an e-start.
Good job the pros should went first, dried up a bit by 2:30
Gray's Pro-Tree After seeing the pro race I agree, it would’ve been beat up a little bit but more dry conditions would’ve been nice for the B/C group.
What pair of tires are you using?
Romel Emperado Kenda Ibex Rear and Kenda Millville II front both with tubliss at 4.5psi
Fabulous setup that is! Kenda all day!
Good ride. Ever catch that kdx rider?

28 minutes in or so.... that’s when I’d want to take a break and have a smoke
smoke em if you got em!!!
YIKES! at 12:30...sooo sketchy.
Look who it is at 21:23 lol
@fullthrottleenduro himself
Mannnn I think you could've made it. My first lap was like 1hr 20 min and I managed to complete 3 laps.

Run 2-4 PSI tire pressure in this type of terrain, especially when wet. If you are worried about bending rims you are in the wrong hobby.
I was running 4.5psi front and rear with tubliss.
Blowing banners out your way! Lol
Just the one at the end of Grahams.
