This so far is THE BEST rendition of this piece on youtube. My honest opinion. Please upload more performances Alerion.

I've heard many recording of this wonderful piece, and this performance is special. Love the slow tempo and the restraint of the1st soprano which allows the middle and lower voices to be heard. You can really hear the suspensions. The high soprano entrances at 0:46 and 2:06 are so soft it's almost as if they were imagined. Lovely.

Thank you so much for your friendly words - we love this piece and since then the group didn't manage to do many concerts - teh Pandemic made it pretty hard to go on with the group - but hope fully we can keep up soon again and also finally do our concerts with the programme of the CD we've recorded... thank you again for this beautiful little "review" and have a good and peaceful december!

It may be a little slower than other performed examples I have heard: however, to me, it works! The voices are very well-disciplined and blend beautifully. I especially like how well-controlled the sopranos are (other groups allow their sopranos to run amuck and should take note). I, therefore, like this rendition very much... BRAVO!

this was great! agreed with the other commenters that it was slower than usual, but it really brought out the beauty of the harmonies. im a sop and it's always tempting to take over but these sops were so aware of dynamics and where they fit into the chord :))

Great performance! I don't understand the apologize for recording by smartphone: if it was so, that's an amazing smartphone 😉

The baritone (Last man on the right) is the best one. They are all wonderful, but his diction, vowels, dynamics, and everything is on point.

Nice male parts! I mean the women parts are great as well, but they always are, the men normally suck. Great blended sound with excellent dynamics
