    It’s also important to mention that the most significant upgrade that bike has is the (6 axis?) IMU which turns the traditional ABS and traction control to lean sensitive ABS and lean sensitive traction control.

    • @NeoMoto
      @NeoMoto  Месяц назад

      I should have mentioned that! Though I was not able to test it but thats a big added feature for safety. Thank you for your input

      @TheBoobieMan Месяц назад

      @ you’re welcome. Although , you can’t test that unless you try to intentionally crash the bike mid corner. The system works in the background and if it’s a good system, you’d hardly notice it works. And iif it works, you’d think it’s just any ordinary tc and abs, but it’s not.

      @@NeoMotoHi, Neo Moto!
      Thank you for your kind response. I actually came very close to purchasing the 2024 Yamaha MT-09 but ultimately decided on the 2025 Triumph Trident 660. I'm particularly proud to own a bike made in the UK, even as a Japanese rider. With my height of 5'6" and a 73 cm inseam, I’m optimistic that I won’t need to lower the seat height of 805 mm. Looking forward to enjoying the ride!

    So glad they fixed it. I had crossed it (2024 model) off my list after my Triumph demo day experience last month. I rode it ride after the 765RS, so the difference was even more glaring. Still I rode it again the next day just to be sure, and the "delay" was just disappointing as an experienced rider. Looking forward to demo 2025 especially with the cruise control as standard. Thank you for the video.

      When they first released the trident in the Philippines I got the chance to test both trident and the street triple, they said I should try the trident first then the 765. I can say the 765 was more fun to ride. But with the 2025 version, can say theyre now both fun. (Ill try the 765 again soon)
      Also thank you for watching!

      I test rode the new 2025 model last Saturday, as far as I’m concerned the throttle still feels weird (I was riding it in Sport mode).. there is still a noticeable gap between what’s happening between the throttle and the engine. Beautiful looking bike and definitely a punchy engine, but that delay is annoying 🤔🏍️

    i bought the triple tribute this year, almost the same features sa 2025, may quickshifter din sya out of the box pero walang cruise control and sport mode, not bummed about not having cruise control naman pero would've been nice kung nagdagdag rin sila ng sport mode sa triple tribute. considering na same price sila sa 2025 model but still prefer the looks ng triple tribute kasi limited edition colorway eh

    probably unpopular opinion, but i started on the Trident and the throttle delay actually allowed me to be more confident and learn how to ride safely. i am unlikely to sidegrade to the new model but i might testride it someday
    edit: looking at you not being able to use the features of the connection - i have never managed to get that working properly, the only that works is accepting calls but not music

    • @NeoMoto
      @NeoMoto  22 дня назад +1

      It's unpopular but for sure it is valid, and that is originally Triumph's goal with the trident 660, to be approachable to new riders.
      Now, I think triumph can offer like an update to previous trident owners to have those features. i mean, that would be awesome.
      About phone connectivity, thanks for your input. I found it weird that it says my phone is connected but I cant get past the "connection" page of the app

    • @NeoMoto
      @NeoMoto  25 дней назад

      Hey there! My friend encountered that one and asked as well, so theres only two ways at the moment to remove the maintenance notification (which blocks the other indicators)
      1.get the dealership to remove it for you
      2.get an obd or ecu scanner (i forgot the brand but its some sort of subscription based software)
      I honestly dont like that part as a DIY motorcyclist.

    Mud guard and number plate isnt ideal and leaves you covered with water, stand us too long and obstructive, power and pull doesn't come early enough, headlights not bright enough, turning circle too big, too low and so underside can hit
    These are all cons I saw on a different video.

    • @NeoMoto
      @NeoMoto  27 дней назад

      interesting. I saw some spots on the back seat when I got back but Im not sure if it was from the mud guard or rain only. I firmly believe the throttle response is better compared to the previous models. rounded headlights usually tend to be weak during night time.
      The rest seems to be subjective. but thank you for putting this here!

    Good news they made it more responsive and livelier to ride with just the throttle tweak.i like the inline 3 engine the sound and performance but honestly I couldn't get past it's styling.Wish Triumph styled the 660 with a Modern Retro look much like the Honda CB650R or street fighter look of the Yamaha MT07.The pov of the gas tank while riding it is ugly and over all styling is mismatching front and back-end.Sorry 660 owners just my honest Opinion.

      @paradiddlesixix7530 head to head the MT07 outsells the Trident 660 globally,I know looks is highly subjective but more often than not big part of Motorcycle purchase is it's styling and aesthetics.
