I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but I think that's a terrible idea. The first movie was perfect, and it really doesn't need a sequel. I think there's a good chance it would end up being a disappointment compared to the first one. Plus, the Cohen brothers don't make sequels, and if they're not the creative force behind it, I'm not really interested. Having said all that... I was 100% wrong about turning Fargo into a t.v. series, so maybe you're right.
@@carlrosenzweig1867 I haven't seen all the seasons yet but it's killing me not to especially being in quarantine and not being able to watch it I have nothing but time on my hands right now.
Totally with Clooney on the Xmas movie thing. Die Hard is not a Christmas movie. The subject matter has no real connection to Xmas. They just happen to be at an Xmas party. It is arbitrary. It could have been a retirement party or a birthday party, or any other gathering. Jingle All the Way is a Christmas movie. Elf is. Die Hard is not.
It's funny that I just discovered this internet thing about Die Hard! I always considered Die Hard a Xmas movie but not the classic Xmas movie, it was just an "alternative" xmas movie! I even bought the soundtrack and I use to play it along the Spector Xmas album... ah ah ah!
@@WhateverHappenedToFun Christmas movies are about Christmas. Die Hard isn't about Christmas. Like I noted, if they said the gathering was to celebrate a corporate merger, or some other event, rather than it being a Christmas party, the movie would have absolutely zero connection to Christmas.
@@slyjokerg I agree if you're lookin' for a classic Xmas movie. If you think about "It's A Wonderful Life", "The Grinch" or "Scrooged" and than you compare them to "Die Hard", "Die Hard" isn't a traditional Xmas movie at all! But if you're lookin' for an alternative Xmas movie, you just need a movie that's shot during Xmas and there are references to Xmas... for example Gremlins, Batman Returns or Trading Places are "alternative" Xmas movies! It's just a funny way to celebrate the best time of the year with somethin' unusual!
@@WhateverHappenedToFun It has nothing to do with being "a classic Christmas movie." It is about the fact that the substance of the movie had nothing to do with Christmas. Not only is Die Hard not a "traditional Xmas movie at all," it isn't a Christmas movie, period. Trying to call it an "alternative Xmas movie" doesn't do anything to change the fact that it had nothing to do with Christmas. Arbitrarily taking place during the Christmas season doesn't make it a Christmas movie. Gremlins, for instance, is NOT analogous, since Gizmo WAS A CHRISTMAS GIFT. The basic plot of the movie isn't about Christmas, but it is a fuck of a lot more of a Christmas movie than Die Hard was. The contention that any movie that has even the slightest, indirect, arbitrary, irrelevant connection to Christmas makes the movie a "Christmas movie" is absurd. "Johnny Boz was a retired rock star. That must mean that _Basic Instinct_ was a movie about music!" LMAO. That is how much Die Hard was a Christmas movie.

Sounds like he is not only “a handsome face”
This is the guy responsible for Eric Andre. There is a lot going on in that head.
He is not! He is a great human being.
He most definitely is not
What a one-dimensional statement. I hope, for your sake, you have a handsome face.
He's not a handsome face. Did you see that Hitler mustache?
so gorgeous even on a blurry zoom 😍🔥
On action movies, so far no one has cited The Terminator.
What about Commando...
T2 is much better than the original.
That's mine!! Terminator 2, actually.
@@fordmccullough6746 @Mike Ledner @Ford Mc cullough SPAM! : Don't just link to some random video that doesn't fit the context. And if you link to a video (at least tag it with an explanation, so people can decide if they want to go there or not). IT IS A SILENT VIDEO OF WRITTEN QUOTES BY HISTORICALLY FAMOUS PEOPLE, with some over-the-top music laid in too.
(same SPAM link with 2 different user names on the same Colbert page) why???
Stephen Colbert:
"Apples or Oranges?"
Jane Fonda:
"Apples, because you can hollow it out, stick a straw in the side, and use it as a bong to smoke."
Damn. I like her style.
Clooney should make, Oh brother where art there. Part 2😁
Oh my gosh YES!
@@carlrosenzweig1867 I see your point but damn Fargo is the best isn't it?
@@wildechild5 It's really a spectacular creative achievement on every level. I'm still honestly shocked that they pulled it off... over and over.
Preach!
I was a Reds fan too back in the 70s. Johnny Bench was my all-time favorite player.
