It’s been just over two weeks since Helene ravaged the mountains of western NC and eastern TN. I’ve worshipped along with this song so many times over the years, and had not played it for awhile. But today (Yom Kippur!) it seemed really timely, and I sang it as a prayer for the people devastated by this storm. “You’re the God Who climbs the mountain, You’re the God Who takes every step with me, You’re everywhere!” The shock of this devastation is probably wearing off, the adrenaline is likely running low, and now the cold, hard reality is settling in. The losses are better known and grief is making itself an everyday part of life. But please know: You haven’t been forgotten, and you won’t be.
For the past four months or so, God has used Melissa Hesler and Cageless Birds music as a tool to comfort and convict my heart. In the beginning of October, when they released "You Love Me", I was going through a time where I needed to be reminded of God's love for me regardless of my condition. In mid-October, I entered into a season where God had to expose my heart and show me that I wasn't allowing Him into every part of me and that's when they released the song "Deeper" which challenged me to give God full access and dominion over my life. In mid-January, when they released "Strength", God used this song to remind me that through Him, I have been given strength to go through every season victoriously and that He is also "fortifying in me a confidence that is unshakable". And now on Valentine's Day, I am reminded that I am never alone because God goes everywhere with me. This group has truly impacted me in ways they will never understand and I am so thankful for their music!
I am believing with you. By faith God is healing you. And getting any toxic people out of your life. Having believing people in Christ around you is so vital. Even if it's Via Zoom. 😁

Years later, I ran into Ken again where he ministered at my church in Inter-coastal NC every year for another decade and now here we are….. I can only imagine the great and glorious things that G-d has planned for the future…… Our children are truly a blessing and an inheritance for the good that we have done (in G-d’s Name) in the world. ❤️

The fact that you even want to call out for him is evidence that he's working inside you! And he is so much stronger than any creation, like a demon. I'm praying for you. God has not left you alone.
Demons have to flee at the name of Jesus. Command that demon to go in Jesus' name. It has to go. Say those words however many times it takes until you feel the thing leave you. Get someone to help you to command it to go. It has no legal right to stay with you if you are a child of God and have made Jesus your Lord and Savior. But sometimes they are stubborn. Keep commanding it to leave until you know it's gone.
HI Jon, Ask God to speak to you of what he thinks of you! Ask him to show you who you are in Him because of what he has done for you. We are not righteous because of what we do or don't do but because of what God has done for us through Jesus. He has washed you in his blood. You are accepted in the beloved! When God looks at you he sees Jesus in you! And just as Jesus overcame so you overcome because He lives in you.
