1.- Vyke had either dragon runes or the runes of the dead demigods we find in the wandering mausoleums
2.- The Black Knifes betrayed Ranni once her goal of leaving the lands between was revealed and tried to kill Ijji and Blaidd, Ijji is covered in black flames because the black knives have weapons imbued with the power of the rune of death (Ranni stole it from Maliketh and Rykard made the weapons)
3.- Because they're 2 kinds of albinaurics, the first generation that look human but who's legs fail at some point in their lives and the second generation of frog-like people who are extremely physically powerful.
and what about those little poles that are scattered around everywhere?

Iji is covered in the flame of the Godskins and not the flame of the black knives
@@thelonelyarrikirri4575 You mean that it's not black and red but black and white, right? The thing with that colour is that the black flame no longer has the "destined death" part of it that and that crucial part is the rune of destined death.
Let us remember that Maliketh recovered the rune of destined death, and that's why we fought him, which means that both the godskins and the black knifes have the nerfed version of the black flame
@@hasturthekinginyellow5003 wasn't Maliketh more like a keeper of the Rune of Death? As far as i remember, it was givin to him by Marika, to watch over it but in the end, Ranni stole a Part of it.
Yes the Black Flame has it's links to the Rune of Death, now weakend due to to it being incomplete but this doesn't explane exactly why Iji is burning in Black Flames. Black Knive Assassins still use something way more Simular to Malikeths Blade than the Black Flame.
But i also have to admit: the Lore is a bit of a Cluster-fuck, has it's flaws and is in parts incomplete. Like why did Marika choose a mere Warrior as Elden Lord, just to Cast him of like he's nothing? Why did Radagon left Rannela, even tho this would probably Break the Alliance with Raya Lucaria. A fact no one is speaking about. I mean, she is the Queen of the Moon and got dropped by her husband to fuck himself, creating "failed" Gods (Malenia/Miquella) (don't know better wording, i know, "failed" isn't even a Close description)

Maliketh is Marika's shadow-bound beast. They are basically ethernal "slaves" for their owner (Ranni has Blaidd for example), they get their beasts from the Greater Will, so it can keep an eye on them. But unlike Ranni, Marika only uses Maliketh for one thing: to protect the Death Rune (which she took out so no one would die in the Lands Between). So yes, Maliketh is a keeper of the Rune of Death, but not because it was a choice or anything.
Why did he choose a "mere warrior"? That dude killed the giants and pushed back the dragons, that's why. But he wasn't fit to be a king yet, beacuse he was basically a beast, a walking weapon at that point, so his power and "angry side" got locked in that lion, but beacuse of that he lost the guidance of graces, essentially becoming useless to the Greater Will, and by that Godfrey became the first tarnished.
Why did Radagon leave Rennala? Because Radagon and Marika are the same person in two bodies. After Marika left Godfrey she became weak. She couldn't rule alone and she can't leave the tree (as she is the vessel of the Elden Ring), so Radagon left Rennala and went back, uniting as one again.
I still might be wrong, I've been researching for 12 hours straight a few days ago, and there are still spots that I do not understand.
It's implied that Dung Eater performs a form of spiritual defilement from Japanese mythology, where a small organ that houses the soul is removed from the individual and consumed by the defiler. This organ is located a short ways inside the rectum, and although not actually present in real life, perhaps this organ does exist in Elden Ring, and Dung Eater has an obsession with removing these organs and placing a seedbed curse within the cavity. This would explain his nickname, as anyone who doesn't know what he's actually doing might see a crazy man gorging himself on whatever his victims ate for breakfast.
Could also explain sekiro with the headless spirits too as they straight up rip into the rectum I think

I was high as a kite the first time I beat Elden beast so I think that says something
I was ultra stoned and beat melania first try somehow accidentally cheesed it and killed her mid transition into second phase second play through it took me a week

The “ghost” near the face in ranni’s design IS Ranni. The physical body is just a doll that ranni’s untethered spirit uses sort of like a medium to communicate through. Essentially, on the night of black knives, Godwyn the Golden was killed and had HALF of the centipede mark of death carved into his flesh, killing his spirit but not his body (a sort of HALF death if you will, his BODY is actually still alive and has been growing MASSIVELY every since) meanwhile at the EXACT moment Godwyn was slain, ranni was also slain but had the other half of the curse mark carved into her flesh, killing her BODY but not her spirit.

it was originally from Dark Souls 2 and was the best in that one, they brought it forward to 3 but cut it down a lot so it was a weird sudden jerky movement instead of the more, snarky, almost sarcastic feeling original from DS2, in there it felt like "YUP here ya are! welcome to the shitshow!" and they shortened/sped up/cut off the movement prematurely in DS3 so it went from what it was to a more "HI HI HELLOWELCOME" feeling.

oh and yeah, it's absolutely just *_bad_* now in elden ring, i never see people even use it.

If you go for the frenzied flame you know you're destroying the lands between. There is no saving
