I still remember my "Summer of Love" in Ocean City MD 1980. I was a 17-year-old barboy working at the Back of the Rack nightclub. Everyone was talking about this great band called Crack the Sky. Once I heard their music, I was hooked. The Beatles meet The Cars and Yes to create magical melodies.

How cool this is -- a prog classic turned unplugged, with the synthesizer part of the original done on acoustic guitar. Wow, these guys were amazing, They deserved much more fame and acclaim than they got in the mid-Atlantic region. They were usually called "progressive," but there always was a solid pop tune at the heart of their songs.

I talked to him when they played down at the inner harbor by the science center and he told me to bring some things to get signed and I did for a couple good friends they came to the show with me I don't think they believe that I ever met Bobby but they knew it that night because he pointed right at me and he came over in between sets and took my stuff and talk to me for a little while and then I saw him at the wild duck the last time I saw them I'm never ever disappointed like I said they are so damn tight it's ridiculous!
