CTS is missed by me since moving to Texas. I have plenty of music but seeing them live is gone. I drew the whole group which in turn the copies are being auctioned off the proceeds to be given to the St. Judes Children's hospital. I was glad to see that.
crack has been a gift from prog heaven to the local scene. they show that pittsburgh and baltimore are really on the same page. they are very up-front people -no swelled heads attending. their songs denser than any top 40 kiddie rock -full of angular excursions and stoppy-starty rhythms. john's lyrics go deep. he's had his tour of duty through the belly of the beast and lived to tell about it with a backdrop of dueling guitars. they only get better with age.
Frank do u know why the video for Nuclear Apathy is no longer on here,It was so cool,it reminded me of the Mad Max movies, there's a version with a bunch of pixs, like someone tried to update it with recent events, but i prefer the bands version, is there anywhere i can find it? Thanks
It was discussed with the band, but because the band is still producing original music ( they are recording a follow up to LIR as I type this) they felt their story wasn't over yet. That being said we decided it wasn't time to do a full length doc. perhaps it will happen... but its not in the short term plans, at least not with me.
Yes you are correct! The film is not the history of CTS, it is a companion piece to living in Living in reverse It is a profile iof the current band only with a special guest Joe Macre who contributes the latest album
I love Rick Witkowski and everything he does! Thanks for sharing the story of Crack the Sky!
Your welcome Cherylann

I think it's cool that CTS has come to terms with being the big fish in the little pond.

Are there any plans to do a full length documentary on the history of the band, that sure would be nice!

How do I get a copy? I just found this today....
copies are available on Ebay under Crack The Sky The unfinished story or you can purchase through Crackthesky.com the official band website
Thank you! Now it's time to acquire a copy for myself. I hope one day a full documentary can be made because they certainly deserve it. 👍
