Fantastic playing again. The great thing about Malmsteen’s solos is that they are so melodic they almost benefit from being slowed down so you can fully appreciate the beauty of them. You sir are a top player, bravo.
Thanks very much Nick, I completely agree, even slowed down the phrases sound very musical and not just like a 'text book' example of a scale, so one doesn't even have to play them up the tempo to make use of them and the licks will still sound pretty cool which is really great, cheers!
This is one of my favorite solos he did with alcatrazz! I can't wait to dig in and learn it :)
It's a great solo especially that arpeggio sequence (and it's not even played crazy fast) but sounds awesome and very musical.
@@chasingfrets yes exactly! I always loved that arpeggio intro its iconic!
Man- thats a sub from me right there.. I learned these arpeggios 15 years ago and my hands have always found them for a warm up all this time, but I never could get the rest of the solo when I was a kid. Finally. You are the man. Bout to check out your other stuff. Thank you.
I appreciate it man, enjoy the lessons! :)
nice tutorial -Thx u again - i Like this melodic arpeggios section 🎼🎸👍✌️
Yeah, nobody does arpeggios like Yngwie, great stuff:) Thanks!

AmazinGG ALWAYS!! Could you also do some acoustic guitar lessons like Crying, Dreaming, Sorrow and Memories?
Thank you very much Mitzi, unfortunately I'm not much of a acoustic guitar player so for now I don't have plans for that kind of a lesson but I might do solo tutorials for some of the songs you suggested , thanks again, cheers!
Nice 👍, keep the solos coming!!
I appreciate it Dave, thanks!
Do you figure this out by ear man or what?!?! Your insanely talented 👏🏼
he wont admit it but Ralph Macchio shows him the licks
Thanks man, yeah as a bottom line I always rely on my ears, I spend a lot of time listening closely to slowed down licks in 'Transcribe!' software where you can apply different filters to enhance lead guitar somewhat, but also Yngwie uses a lot of recycled licks, so in time you can already guess what he's playing, so years of experience do help :)
@@chasingfrets well thanks to your ears and amazing playing man! Appreciate the lessons so much! 🙌🏻
@@R0BERTMAY Thanks man I appreciate the support, cheers!
@@interestingthings8598 Hi man, well I posted my first Yngwie video about 3 years ago ( 'Priest of the unholy' cover) but I've been actively listening to him forever, years and years, learning individual licks for my personal 'vocabulary', but the funny thing is I'm not personally even so much into neoclassical genre I'm more of a 'The Cult' 'ZZ top' 'Royal blood' 'Tool' kind of a guy, I'm doing Yngwie lessons because people are interested in him and there aren't too many channels where you can find his solos transcribed and shown in detail so that's the main reason.
Amazing! 👍👍👍👍
Thanks!
