Dog "I am death incarnate to any that would visit harm upon my human. I will have no mercy. I will not stop. I am doom. My name is Mr Fluffy Bum. Fear me."
My kids grew up with a family dog we called Zeus. He was a jet black pitbull that viewed my kids as his own puppies and let them crawl all over him, they learned to walk holding on to him, and even slept on the floor of their bedroom. But if you threatened these little angels he turned into the hound from hell. Zeus has been gone for a few years now but now I have a pack of pitbulls as family pets but the ringleader is a mut. She's a mastiff, great Dane, Irish wolfhound so she looks like a bulked out black and white wolf the size of a small horse. We call her Hela ( my middle daughter named her because we got her just after Thor Ragnarok came out). She was a little puppy not knowing how big she would get. All my dogs are well trained. The funniest sight is my petite wife walking a dog so big and massive she could ride it like a horse but also have 3 pitbulls surrounding her. Nobody bothers my family
I have walked through a city late at night in the company of such a dog, completely safe. She was a friend’s Central Asian Shepherd. She was a working livestock guardian and personal protection dog. She was perfectly sweet. To a few select people. She was indifferent and aloof to most. But she would happily eat you for breakfast if you threatened her family. Good dog.
Fact: When poet Emily Dickinson was a kid & wandered far collecting wildflowers, her dad decided to get her a big black dog, a Newfoundland, to protect her. Emily named him Carlo & loved him all his life.
I had a Irish wolf hound as a small child. Well,... i was HER pup would be a better way to say it. NO ONE got within feet of me without her permission. Hahaha
I had a long-haired Belgian Shepherd named Solo. When I was a little girl, she used to follow me everywhere. If anyone that she noticed, I was nervous around dared to approach me she got in between me and that person, then she would start to growl, very slowly at them. If they did not back away, she would slowly hurd them away from me. If they continued to try and advance, she would start snapping. Every single day, she would walk me to the bus stop and wait at the end of my driveway for the bus to deliver me home. One day, I went to a friend's house after school for a sleepover. My parents said that Solo sat at the end of the driveway for the rest of the day, all through the night. They had to feed her out there because she would not leave the driveway. The next morning when my friend's parents dropped me off at home. She was sitting at the end of the driveway waiting still. That's the kind of dog every girl needs.❤ I miss my guardian so very much, I've never been able to find another dog, even remotely similar.
A friend of mine, many years ago, had a big doberman, and that dog was as sweet as they come. I'm 6 feet tall, and I could pat my chest, and that dog could put her paws on my shoulders and lick my face. My friend's kids, 8 and 6, in a small town, roamed her neighborhood pretty freely, under the watchful eye of the dog. The dog was never a problem...unless someone made the wrong kind of move toward the kids. Then she would put a stop to it. So, yeah. (Yes, female dog. Protected the kids like they were her pups...)
It's been decades now, but I'll never forget the day I was out for a walk with my very first Bouvier Des Flandres For those that don't know, BdFs are a big shaggy Franco-Belgian cattle herding dog breed. Bred to be tough AF - not biting at the heels of a cow, but run up beside it & body blocking it back to the herd. Well, as we went to cross a busy intersection, this little old lady had been looking at the ground as she approached from the opposite direction. As we got close to passing each other, she suddenly looked up & focused on my dog... and let out the most blood curdling scream I'd ever heard! She fell back onto the ground, scrambling on hands & knees back to the curb. The entire time she was SCREAMING: "HELP! OMG HELP!!! YOU EVIL MAN!!! HOW DARE YOU BRING A BEAR INTO TO CITY!!!" We were in the middle of the intersection & the lights were changing so we followed at a distance to the curb. She was getting increasingly hysterical... I seriously tried everything I could think of to show her he was just a big dog. I had him go through his entire trick routine INLCUDING speak on command - and had him do both via voice & just a hand signal. She flat out refused to believe! I almost choked when she said I was pure evil because I taught a bear how to bark like a dog. *FACEPALM* ((Hey, I'll admit right off the bat that Bdfs are one of the most bear looking breeds out there... Hell they even have that Ursine-like sidewinder walk down pat. Anyone that's wondering, that's a YES... it's a sad reality that many a Bouv has been shot during hunting season mistaken for a bear.)) She was SOOO upset, services were called... While she got checked by EMS, I got to give a couple of cops their daily dose of humor. They pet my dog & left.
I had the joy of visiting a wolfdog preserve in New Jersey. They have dogs with varying n percentage of wolf and varying degree of “friendliness”. They often subsidize the preserve with photo shoots and movie appearances. My hubby and I are avid animal people and most dogs gravitate to us. The dog that had the highest percentage of wolf immediately started checking people out and selected me for scratches. When his buddy woke up and tried to get in on it, he grumbled at him to buzz off and it sounded about like this. Most everyone else was checking their undies but hubby and I were scolding him for being rude to his friend. 😂
@@fluttergirl75 the females are the best dogs that have ever owned me tho. My Luna was the ambassador of all wolf dogs. Endlessly kind...and she told me when my son was having a seizure. RIP LUNA 💖🐺💖
Does anyone remember “Werewolf”? That police K9? That was the first thing that I thought of when I saw this good boy. Yes, she will be very safe with that puppy.
I would have LOVED having a hellhound at my side during my childhood and teen years. This girl is so lucky. Those dogs are ferociously loyal. She won't have any issues with douchbags, as long as her dedicated, beloved hellhound is at her side. The worry is, that those hounds are typically attracted to rather "auspicious" humans. She may end up ending humanity. But if that's the case, her dog will 100% help her do it!
Nice puppy! Good puppy. Why are you looking at me like I'm a delicious snack? I'm not a Beggin' Strip. Please let go of my hand. Why are you chewing on me???
Not sure why but as soon as that dog stepped forward, Dethklok's Murmaider began playing in my head. Not sure what breed it is but it looks similar enough to a German Shepherd to me (I've been attacked on two occasions by a German Shepherd as a small child) that a cold chill went racing up and down my spine. Life sucks sometimes but it is definitely better than the alternative and that dog is the harbinger of said alternative. No. Thank. You.
Agreed! We adopted Harley in 2020 when she was still an 8 lb puppy. She is now an 80 lb catahoula/blue heeler mix that is a total sweetheart though very protective and a bed hog. We do live in a rather safe neighborhood but still I have no fear for my daughter when she is out walking with the dog. I've had multiple neighbors point out to me how the dog will not let anyone near my daughter. Good dog. She's family!
My bork borks are nowhere near as intimidating visually, but having 3 of them, with a combined weight of over 220lbs, and that they are Pitties...that keeps my daughter VERY safe.
It’s not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog. Had a black lab, was actually hubby’s before we met but she became very protective of me (I was the food delivery system😂). If anyone weirded me out, she would be between us, hackles up and growling, even if it was just my husband being a goober.
That's why I love my big boys and girls. They're all the bestest dogs in the world, but they look intimidating, which is a plus for tiny me. Though the funny thing is, you look crossed eyed at my baby, its not them you have to worry about 🤣
A friend of mine was sickly as a child, so his parents got him a dog. He named this dog Happy. Happy was the angriest dog in the world, did not like anyone but my buddy. He could do no wrong in Happys mind, he was the most loyal protective dog a kid could wish for. Happy was safe around people unless they went after my friend, then all bets were off.
When I was in my teens, both of my sisters and their families lived in walking distance. I was constantly at one or the others houses, either babysitting or just to hang out. One had a Doberman and the other had a Great Dane. I always laughed about that, because we always had little poofy dogs growing up. At any rate, both dogs were extremely well trained and little tiny 96 Lb me would often be the one walking them. Though they were on a leash, I didn’t need one. Neither of those dogs ever moved from my side. I had no fear if I had one of those dogs with me.
My daughter has a Weimaraner\German Sheppard mix, it's a nice dog and friendly, until someone who act's threatening to her or anyone else in our family, then he becomes satan's cousin's dog
Our fsnily dog I grew up with was extremely protective of me as a child - actually when I grew into an adult she still was. That isn't only a dog, it's a Direwolf... We had a half Alaskan Malamute, half German Shepherd or Coyote, my uncle wasn't sure, (he's who gave him to us) it was friendly enough, but people never messed around at our home. It actually wasn't very big, and was good with our other animals and cats😊
I bet there are tons of funny videos of this girl and her dog playing. I know growing up my family had scary hunting dogs that were only sweet on us family members.
We have a female husky. When our son was younger she was protective of him with strangers. She's also the kind of dog that thinks everyone is a friend she just hasn't met yet.
Given her age and how long dogs live she will loose Satan's puppy as a teen when she needs him the most. However till then God help anyone that attempts to hurt her. Good way to keep the boys in line. Just knowing he likes chew toys and meat.😂
