Thanks a lot and it shouldn't be too hard, we still play this set regularly and also released it on our brand new album, called "Greatest Hits" ;) If you're interested, you can find our releases here: folkshop.dk
Is the first part of the song played in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? When the golden ticket winners are waiting for Willy Wonka to make an appearance?
Hi Flabian, it is two melodies in a medley. The first one is called "Rumlekvadrillen" (traditional from Taasinge, Denmark.) The second one is called "Molbodrengens Hopsa" and was composed by Otto Rasmussen (1872-1949.) Both tunes were made famous by the well-known Danish fiddler Evald Thomsen (1913-1993.)
A marvellous performance. I love the foot movements. And what a great audience. I wish I had been there.
Thanks a lot! Yes, we really had a very memorable night there :)
FANTASTIC!!!
Thanks a million! :)
Oh my, I would love to see this in person!
