Youth academy has given Casillas, Raul, Casemiro, Carvajal. There's other academy graduates like Callejon, Juan Mata, Parejo etc who just couldn't start ahead of current players. The average height for a goalie (in men's football) is ~6'1-6'2 (180 - 183 cm), and anything below that is considered short. You very rarely see a goalie below 6'0.
But fear not, as short people have their place in football too thanks to their better centre of gravity and agility, making them suitable wingers and playmakers - Messi is the most famous example.
