Mas que performance. Nossa! Isso é ideal para quem quer rebanhar gado aqui no Brasil, tal como é feito de helicóptero lá na Austrália.

Great STOL performance, but that gear is SO draggy..... fairing it would be well worth the effort and probably result in 5 to 8 mph greater cruise speed, longer range, and greater climb. Less drag is always worth pursuing, on any kind of bird. What is the cruise by the way, with the 912S at 5200 RPM?

Those are tundra tires ... the plane is purely designed for back country flying .. apparently your not aware of the impossibility and profound impractical application of fairings on 30 inch tires ... What you need to do is go to a fly in and look at normal airplanes with faired gear ... then walk over to one of these .. You will then get the picture of the insane irrelevancy of what you just stated... how monstrous and cartoonishly large and heavy the fairings would be ...

@@markdoan1472 I was talking about the gear struts, NOT the tires! All that large diameter round tubing is super draggy. My cub style gear on my Rans S-7S is fabric covered And the trailing edges are faired. this resulted in a 8 to 10 mph increase at the same RPM in cruise. Also longer range and increased climb. Like I said, less drag ALWAYS pays, and I will guarantee you I fly more off airport then this demo pilot.

@@portnuefflyer I had the opportunity to look at one of these closely. The fuselage is a direct copy of the S7, the older narrower ones that are 24" wide. right down to the seat frame bars. t's spiffed up with a lot of fancy carbon fiber pieces decorations inside. The wing is basically the same tube truss type too.
