    🇺🇸 Did you know a oil manufacturer can call a lubricant a Full Synthetic when it's only 25% synthetic? AMSOIL is different because it is 100% Synthetic and has a higher film strength keeping the metal parts separated. AMSOIL allows less friction, less heat, less wear on the component. AMSOIL Signature Series motor oil has guaranteed protection for up to 25,000 miles or 1 year of normal driving.

    Good example of how running a high quality of oil will clean up an old engine, and yes it may seem expensive at first although you can save money in the long run. With my 2000 7.3 I changed the oil using AMSOIL every five thousand miles for the first few oil changes to let the detergents clean up the inside of the engine. With my wife’s Nissan Xterra I used the AMSOIL oem oil and changed the oil every three thousand miles for the first three oil changes to do the same thing (I also changed the transmission fluid every oil change at that time to do the poor man’s flush). And even my wife’s new to her 2017 ecodiesel I changed the oil when I bought the truck and then changed the oil again at fifty percent oil life to let the detergents clean out the engine.

    Tbh there is a real difference when you do this. I recently put the Amsoil High Mileage 5W-30 in my 2010 Nissan Titan. And after almost 3k miles I changed the WIX filter and primed it with the Signature Series 5W-30. I can actually tell a difference in how smooth the truck ran afterwards and the slight difference in throttle response. The oil is an amber color right now, and I will completely switch over to the Amsoil SS's at 5k miles. After a week or so, I will check the oil level and color to see how changing the filter made a difference. Personally, I am thinking about becoming an Amsoil dealer!!! I really want to see the Signature Series tested against the new formula for Valvoline's Restore and Protect!!!

    @Syntheticoilprotection Is there any imperical proof that the carbon deposits were gone from this car after 3000 miles? All I hear in your video is anecdotal musings like "It feels better", etc. BTW, I think Amsoil makes good stuff, and have used them for many years.

    • @Syntheticoilprotection

      Sure definitely makes more power also run smoother and it also gets better fuel mileage the exact numbers we haven't put it on the dyno but I do have Dino videos showing that data here's one on my personal car - ruclips.net/video/zH-VquYlhqA/видео.htmlsi=OhGzYMZaxT6clDD_

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  5 месяцев назад

      @donh8223 yes you can see the oil when we put it in if you go to the previous video which I'll link at the bottom you'll see the oil when it goes in clear also the oil removes a lot of the carbon inside the engine and it ends up in the filter if you cut the filter apart you'll see a paste that's embedded into that media basically it's like tar almost and that's why the oil gets so dark because once the filter gets full the signature series keeps those particles in suspension - ruclips.net/video/6jYjsLTIH24/видео.htmlsi=tEN04w4ENhWE-tDm

    Hi Eben have you ever had the filter cut open and have the material and oil tested t see how effective the oil filter is After 3 thousand miles ?

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  5 месяцев назад

      Kind of not quite after 3,000 miles but I have done it on a motorcycle filter on the channel we do have a video of cutting open the filter very high quality construction and lots of hasty stuff on the material basically it gets embedded in the fabric and if you took a knife and scrape it you could scrape a tar like substance out of the media and that's what you basically see in the oil as you look at it it's a silica brownish pasty look and that's what ends up in the filter after the detergents the laminate the film in it ends up in the filter material.
      You can tell by the way the engine runs has the filter gets full it doesn't perform as well and the oil gets significantly darker as the dispersants keep those particles in suspension with the signature series the filter has only so many square feet and so much capacity once that's full there's no other place for it to go so basically the oil just gets darker and darker I've had people that already change your oil with Signature Series in 2000 Miles because it's gotten so dark because of how much sludge that was in their engine.
      Really depends on the vehicle depends on the driving style and the previous motor oil used a lot of elements all come into play however changing things earlier will always have a better result and that's really what I lean towards on a car with over 100,000 miles I personally recommend now just coming back after about 3,000 and just changing the filter because the performance difference is totally worth it.
      Now Doug is good for another 15,000 mi on that filter

    I bought a f-150 used with 25,000 miles. I think it was a lease return and the guy never changed the oil. I put Signature Series in and it cleaned the engine so well all the oil galleries plugged up and starved the cams of oil. The entire engine was full of sludge. Ford replaced the engine under warranty. Amsoil really cleans 😂

      @@Syntheticoilprotection I’ve been using the Signature Series for 201,000 miles and since then, I get anywhere from 23-25 MPG depending on how I drive. The 6th Gen Accord were notorious for transmission issues, so, going for the Signature Series ATF was a no brainer.
