Finally some other phones outside of Samsung, Apple, Google and Oneplus. Would like a speed test too
Yeah with powerbank
@@soumyadipbera3269
It weighs less them the iphone 😂😂
Oppo is Oneplus lol
@@DutchRedGaminglowkey that's backwards but also technically incorrect. 😅That's like saying Hyundai is Kia, when Kia is under Hyundai Motor Group
@DutchRedGaming they are sister companies, but the phones will perform differently
These Chinese manufacturers are killing it. OPPO, Xiaomi and Vivo. The problem is not many talk about it. Everyone thinks Samsung and Google Pixel are the only Android manufacturers
One day, everyone will have to think again.
Not only mediatek made a chip that's logically on par with the snapdragon 8 elite, it also doesn't generate heat as much as snapdragon 8 elite but ALSO, POWER EFFICIENT CPU! God damn, Oppo! Well done!
Nice cope
Is it power effiicient tho? 1 hour longer with 1200 mAh does not seem that impressive
@@Randomdude21-e It is during app cycle though. Realistically, no one's gonna just open all their apps on the phone, close them and then do it all over again
@@slavboii420 but the iphone did 1 hour of app switchinh and lost 8-10% of an 4780 mAh battery, the oppo used 16% of an 6000 mAh battery, its easy to see that the oppo is not that efficient. It has a big battery and thats why it has better batterylife. And i mean thats the most important.
@@Randomdude21-e so?? If they could fit bigger battery in the phone isn't it part od the comparison?? I dont know why are you crying, the oppo is still charged up faster, so i just dont get why you guys are mentioning that "oh no it is not fair because oppo has bigger battery and if iphone had the same battery it would win blah blah blah". If mom had balls she would've been my dad. If they managed to fit bigger battery in oppo it is fair!!! So stop crying!
I am pretty happy with the battery of my iPhone 16 pro max, I would need to get a better case, this silicon case I have ain't good, any advice?
Darling if you like leather I would go for Vionentus cases, my husband has the iPhone 16 pro and looks great!
I always used the leather cases from Apple, miss the old days, thanks, I'll go check for my 16 pm
I'm currently using Torras case for my 16 PM. So far pretty dang good
Currently rocking Uniq life pro and speck presidio grip. Both amazing
Here for this 🎉
❤😮😮😮😮 wow man:D Hello❤
i would one day like you to do a similar setup as well. you are producing some good content
Instead of saying 1 hour lead its better to say oppo had 16% battery at the end of iphone's. And that's a significant lead.
Thanks for spoiling 😢
@sanskarmohanty9939 or you can say thanks for saving the time.
@@puneetiqbal yeah that too
...with a 30% larger battery so the iPhone is more efficient, but Dimensity looks like it has closed the gap with the A18 pro significantly, both now on TSMC 3nm.

something about this robotic arm clicking on "I'm not a robot" button 😂😂
Yeah! Even I want to know how does the robot do that. Probably the script has taken it into consideration beforehand.
Been using it as my daily driver and can confirm: you can't drain that battery in one day. it is impossible.
Play a game and you could
Lol
i don't think it would last me a day considering i play a lot of games over 5g
I easily could. I use 125-180% of my S24 ultra battery and it's for work/social media
the real champ here is Phonebuff, giving us the battery test so early 👍
So... What's about Xiaomi 15 pro (with 6,100 mAh) vs iphone 16 pro max vs OnePlus 13 (with 6,000 mAh) vs Oppo find X8 pro in battery test comparison
And vivo
I have seen Xiaomi and OnePlus 13 in battery tests, and they lost to the iPhone. I assume they are not optimised or that the Snapdragon 8 Elite is less efficient than the Dimensity.
Also the Realme GT7 Pro, it has bleeding edge screen tech and 6'500 mAh battery, it could also do quite well.
They say PhoneBuff replies if you're early...?
Nah
Not always.
@@Labib-dw1lk yeh

Also opo will has a 4X faster charger that comes in the box
This is not the case in Europe, where the EU has banned chargers in the box as they are a stain on the environment.
@@andyH_Englandsource? Im italian and plenty of phones from poco, oppo, oneplus, etc still have a brick in their box.
Yes they do
It’s really stupid in the comments from some people. People saying iPhone’s battery is more efficient whereas Oppo has about 27% bigger battery.
Listen, at the end of the day how much battery backup the consumer is getting matters not the efficiency. If a bigger and less efficient battery is providing more juice per charge compared to another phone which has less hours per charge, but it more efficient. Then out of the two it’s obvious than it’s logical to go with bigger battery, as you want more juice or wanna flex that efficiency but getting less hours in return.
Also android phones always required a bigger battery for comparable battery test, as android has more fragmentation so it can’t be optimized as iOS in general
LOL ppl are sick of eficiency rates but they forget about the final cycle test. Excluding that will reveal the whole story, where the Oppo has the same, if not better, mAh/hr rate. What's the point of doing app cycle in reality though?
Love this reviews... They provide useful information about the devices and support purchase decisions
iPhone vs. Find X
4685mAh vs. 5900mAh
28h 1m vs. 29h 18m
40 watt vs. 80 watt
$1200 vs $900
At the end of the day…
Someone takes $300 more and gives 1 hour less battery life with 2x slower charging speed.
🙂
Then bring a battery with the same size.. and forget about speed
And iOS having real support for 7 years and more with updates in security and don’t lose their value like the rest.
And a better video performace, a better depreciation price, an American brand with no malware on it and no lag for the next 8 to 12 years.
@@Berkahaishano one uses a phone for more than 3 years
@@fira3reocry more. Tell that to apple to bring more battery capacity. They make phone thick and can't provide higher capacity.
Extremely impressed by the performance of the Find X8 Pro, I wonder how much that remaining 16% would've got if it wasn't the app cycle and was snap or instagram.
Probably 2+ hours
I think we need to also take in account the raw battery capacities of each phone. mAh aren't a good indicator as manufacturers use different voltages, so Wh is preferred.
In terms of raw capacity, the iphone stands at 19.55 Wh, where the Oppo is at a whopping 22.88 Wh.
Which means that the iphone managed to pull off 1.56 hrs per 1 Wh and the Oppo gave 1.28 hrs per 1 Wh, hence showcasing Apple's chip is still more efficient.
Nevertheless, it's simply impressive how Oppo managed to push battery capacity technology by shoving a massive battery in that form factor. Truly pushing the industry forward. Perhaps we will see Apple finally breaking the 20 Wh barrier next year but I wouldn't bet on it.
@@tenka__ competition is always good for the consumer, so I'd love to see more battery life on phones.
No that doesn't prove that the iphone is more effective you compare diffrent test to the overall efficiency that isn't correct diffrent tests put diffrent wattages then the comparison you did isn't correct. You need to check for each individual test not all combined to get the efficiency.
@@Iopal152What?😂
tbh, idc about Wh consumptions per hour, why bother counting effeciency per hour when u can use the phone longer, also CHARGED the phone significantly faster too with 80W charger IN THE BOX🤷🏼♂️
The app cycle is technically more demanding on Android than iOS and no one is going to repeatedly do that, so let's calculate the rate:
- Before app cycling test (26h), the Oppo Find X8 Pro used 63%, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max used 82%, that means ~1.80 hrs/Wh and ~1.62 hrs/Wh
- Excluding standby time (26-16=10h), the Oppo used 58%, while the iPhone used 72%, that means ~0.75hrs/Wh and ~0.71hrs/Wh
So two things can be said, Oppo might be more efficient overall, and iPhone is extremely efficient at app cycling
I'm so glad for the disclosure! Great video 😊
The Oppo phone name sounds like a math problem and it’s so nostalgic
right😅
Wow, that's impressive and the OPPO only has 1225 more mAh. Show em, Oppo!

What app or shortcut did you use to turn off the iPhone screen from launcher??? (As shown at 3:25)
Apple fanboys are ridiculous, apple has their own chipset, own operating system. So its obvious iphone is more efficient.
But neither opps has their own chipset nor own operating system, still it was efficient in some apps , which is great.
Oppo was able to fit approx 1400 mah more , Apple wasn't , so it's oppos faltu for fitting more battery?
Just stop arguing, a win is a win .

I don’t think people need so much battery to fit in a single device that lasts for days
Come to reality bro
This is incredible. Battery is so important when you really need it. While traveling in Indonesia, I saw my friend's iPhone 15 Pro Max and my S23 Ultra die by the evening due to the heat, spotty mobile reception, and heavy use with navigation, ride share apps, camera + video, hotspotting, and general web browsing. Without our battery banks, we'd have been stranded. To think the Oppo would likely have lasted even longer than that.
Waiting for speed test ❤
I would love you guys test OnePlus again. Speedtest and Battery Test
is now retiring with small capacity battery while all other OEMs moved to 6000 & 7000mah massive battery capacity in their Flagships 🎉😅
Please do Oppo Find X8 Battery test
Apple should charge it’s battery tech.i want to update for almost 4 years and no significant change in battery life.
Please compare pixel 9 and pixel 9 pro. We like compact phones as well. I can assure it will be a hit in terms of views.
The meta for this year would be to make phones have a light performance mode for everyday tasks and fully unlock the potential for gaming (like atleast OnePlus and Samsung already do)
I love ur vids can’t wait for more
So much efort Thank You

Increasing the physical battery size is the key reason that oppo findX won
Samsung should learn from them
They are keeping the same battery size since S20 ultra ig 🤦♂️
Optimization u can do only to a certain point only
And iphone's operating systems is different so u can't compare it with Android and say with small battery only iphone is performing why android can't
This was already addressed by gery explain few yrs back
Samsung's 5000mAh battery is not enough for you to last a day? lol
How about you send an email to the Samsung team of engineering about the batteries, so they make them bigger just like that? Educate them a little
@@disco.lemonade Too much for him to do it seems .
Samsung has a bad history with batteries, so they are reluctant to use the latest tech. Hence, they have been stuck on 5000mAh for years.
You guys make it sound like 5000 mah is small, my previous phone had 1821 mah
Now those are the next gen phones we want....
@PhoneBuff I would like to see a drop test between these two.
very interesting video. Please make one when you get hands on OnePlus 13 :)
Here for this❤️ oppo wow.. and i love dimensity processors
Dimensity is winning every battery comparison this year
That's great, diversity in the competition is always healthy no matter which phone you end up buying or stick to
Bro, drop the speedtest please we are waiting for SD 8 elite vs A18 pro!
Why is Bluetooth turned on on the oppo?!
iPhone has it turned on too by default, so why would they turn it off on the Oppo?
thats is absotulty impressive for oppo to have such an advantage, to get more talked about now^^ Great Video
I mean I somewhat expected it that the iPhone would lose, 1300+ MAH and a well designed CPU Chip, but man that was nuts
Pretty crazy battery sizes in coming phones right now. I just wish they would use this to make the phones a bit smaller again. Both 16 pro max and 8x pro are just too unwieldy imho.
Now do a speed test comparison! They should honestly be in the same video. If one phone is slower but has better battery life, there's a reason for that!
That thing won!!
As one that uses the a34 I can safely say that its Demensity chip performs very well too.
It's surely impressive and I like that Qualcomm in particular gets more competition but I don't really get where the overall said comes from that it was more efficient than the iPhone?
5910 mAh is 26% more than the iPhones but it lasted only 16% longer.
It is not as efficient as he said in the video--it is longer-lasting as it has a larger battery. But, still, the efficiency is great.
Isn't that efficient use of space. Apple will never make a 5000mah phone because it either can't or wants to push people to upgrade
But excluding the cycle test, 143mAh/hr for Oppo and 148mAh/hr for iPhone. In reality who is gonna do the app cycle anyway
Oppo making a comeback to the global market! I'm considering them for my next phone 👀
now we want a Speedtest
How Oppo put the big battery and still lighter than iPhone
The answer is a silicon-carbon battery. And it's not the first generation.
I am happy with my iphone 16 pro max battery
There is an Android phone out there with 7000mah battery and SD 8 elite chipset if I recall correctly, would love to see that one against 16 pro max

Tks Sir
Very impressive for the Oppo, I wonder if the delta would’ve been bigger if they used the Snapdragon 8 Elite?
Waiting for a comparison with a phone powered with SD 8 Elite
This might be my next phone, but I wanna see the Oneplus 13 next
We should see the iPhone 16 Pro and Xiaomi 15.. It will be a comparison worth watching to see how long the battery life of a 6.3" phone can
Thanks to SI/C technology.
only issue im having with going for mediatek at this point is lack of driver support. it would have been powerful than snapdragon
Please do the small X8 too.
The Oppo is a beast damn. Next contender and very likely the new champion should be the new Redmagic phone
The interesting thing, did you make sure both phones are connected to the same cellular network, I mean it would be nice to make sure both of them are not connected automatically, but manually to the same cellular network or even to use airplane mode to eliminate the factor of draining battery if one phone is connected to much farther cellular station.
Do you use your phone in airplane mode
They literally say both phones are connected to the same mini cell tower at the start
@@Zomboy4313 sorry, I skipped that. Then it’s ok.
With the Oppo have a much larger battery (26% larger) I didn’t think the iPhone would’ve lasted as long as it did.
speedtest?
When the iphone with 4685mah battery dies, The Find x8 pro's 4900mah battery is depleted, so the iPhone is a little more efficient, but as a result the x8 pro gave longer battery life.
Nah just exclude the app cycle test, who tf is going to do that in reality right?

Is there any way to test under 5G signal, how does the battery life goes?
I think what this phones are telling us is that you should add more apps to your battery test

Maybe change the battery life test at the last by adding a few AI tasks (in device if android adds it)?

Holy molly, that Oppo didn't want to go to bed, just like my kids! (I don't have kids).
Now on to the speed test.
Did you test the iPhone on iOS 18.1? I feel like battery life is better on that version and I’d like to see you retest the iPhones on 18.1 to see how they perform on the new software
I feel it’s actually worse. I was getting 15-16 hours sot when I first got the phone on iOS 18. Then after that it slowly got worse with each update now I’m getting about 3-4 hours less.
18.1 destroyed battery health on my XR. noticeable worse battery. also laggy, warm, freezes...
For me, iOS 18.1.1 is much better in terms of battery performance on my iPhone 16 Pro Max compared to iOS 18 and iOS 18.1. Even though Apple didn’t mention battery improvements in iOS 18.1.1, it definitely makes a difference.
Now to the drop test
you can swipe to the left in alto to play in zen mode, so there's no need to restart if the character dies
OPPO find x8 pro has larger battery which lasts longer than iPhone, but we need to remember that iPhone has li-ion battery when oppo has carbon silicon battery. It is easier to condensate more juice in the same space with carbon silicon but it degrades multiple times faster. So after a year iPhone will have 90%+. Battery live with heavy usage when oppo will have 50%+ battery live with heavy usage. U can also preserve li ion degradation by not letting your phone heat up when charging not charging wirelessly and by setting charging limits. Carbon silicon degrades by itself. (I am not trying to offend anyone by this comment. These are just objective fact)
From my personal experience..iPhone battery degraded faster. My iphone 13 is at 87 after one year of use. Lil bro OnePlus 12 is still at 96. I have seen some comments regarding what I am saying.
