Couldn't make out what they were saying wish someone had edited this and take out the background noise or go to a place more private. Thank you.
I've heard of Ikaria before, and it's not just the food but their way of life. Everyone no matter the age is active. They are close knit community and very family oriented. Lovely place for sure. Oohpa!!

The more she denied them not having a relationship the more it seem they had one outside of a professional one

Interesting interview, though the background noise made it difficult to understand every single word. I hope one thing comes through to people listening to this and that's the old (Greek by the way!) saying that moderation is best, or everything in moderate doses is OK. It irks me when I see people being absolute, like no sugar whatsoever, no alchohol whatsoever, no red meat whatsoever. These people eat their sugar (but as a treat), drink their wine (not to get drunk) and eat their pork too.

I am guessing there are peoples that live long not on the Nat. Geo. story list because they don't have any popular story to tell. If you want to sell magazines and books you better say something like fish or olive oil or goat cheese or red wine or community. And you also should tell your story at a restaurant instead of a shack where the super centenarian may have spent most of their life.

Dan hit a very major thing. Generational, lots. Farms that are being passed down negate renting. In the west? Australia...USA...UK...France California Florida, guess what man?? Poeple rent,....Lloll...And the few? That own homes, really don't have them paid, and the few that do have to pay monster tax. So this means your stressed. But more important that's hours of work. The ikirians resolved that problem cause they hand down farms. Second, since they own the land subsistence. They don't drive, they eat food from the land. Since they don't have to generate vast amounts money to buy food pay a car pay for housing. Really by? 12? There day? Is largely done?. Since they own the land and the food. And walk everywhere. They have to generate far less money than we do. And don't have to spend there time working so they party. Obviously this + there diet. Is leading to extraordinary life spans. They have managed to De industrialize. Through land ownership and subsistence farming. More importantly while they don't intentionally, set out to live... these longs lives. They do however...100 percent set out To eat well. Which really means ...they do set out to live long.
