@@TravelWithLisaMH thank you for taking the time out of your busy life and showing us this beautiful cemetery. Its a cemetery I have yet to visit so by you showing us all you have brought us a step closer 🙏 Rest in peace to all
I must say that this cemetery is well cared for and I don't think I have ever seen anything like it, very fascinating indeed! Wow there are Freud's remains there I completely ignored where this great character was buried. Thank you Lisa 🌻
Thank you, Carlo. It is really a beautiful crematorium. I did a second video from there where I was shown around the columbarium. The ashes of Bram Stoker are there.
Thoroughly enjoyed your video/wander through these sacred grounds informative enlightening I was amazed at just how many well known people were in amongst the ordinary folk.
Been to a few cremations around the country. Golders Green Crem is the best, well kept, beautiful gardens, and a peaceful place to spend a sunny afternoon. My mother in law, and her second husband are interred there.
Didn't know we had places like this for urns, I lost my hubby 13yrs ago I still have his ashes at home i can't bear to part with them while I have them I feel I still have him, I was going to scatter his ashes had it all arranged but could not let him go had a full on panick attack. 😢
Those ashes are sacred to you, decide now, and let your N.O.K. know what you want done with both your ashes, dont leave it to someone else to decide ❤️
Very interesting. The cemeteries of London are superior , in my opinion with their more wildlife friendly spaces. I have specified burial as I want to keep open spaces in the UK . Cremation allows developers to build over every space available, I loathe it.
Better the second time around 👍 funny how you got 23k views and only 279 likes? Like come on people a like doesn’t cost anything 😂😂😂 Salute to Peter Sellers as well, great actor 👍
Janet Munro a British actress from the Disney's movies Swiss Family Robinson and Darby O'Gill and the Little People is buried here. She was a real cutie to me but unfortunately she died in 1972 of a heart attack at 38 years old.

Very interesting but not for me,I do wish to be cremated but hopefully my ashes will be scattered somewhere more free, like a mountain side or the ocean
Looks like an interesting place but camera work & editing aren’t great and boring narration.
Awwwww thanks Mark. Not going to worry about your feedback. But thank you so much for taking time out of your day to leave a comment 😊
@@TravelWithLisaMH sounds like a lovely guy!
Lol. I guess he is entitled to his opinion huh?

Now that's what i'm talking about! that place is incredible. i've never seen one in the states! I love your channel!!!
I love the old, old cemeteries 👍
Great video Lisa , thanks for posting .
Thank you David. And thank you for watching 😊
Brilliant video and ashes of the late actor Sidney James 8th May 1913/26th April 1976 are in section 2.
Great tour and interesting crematorium.
Thank you Paul. It was a very cold day and there were loads I missed. I will be going back again. Very peaceful crematorium and so much history.
Shows you the love for Marc there
Always in our hearts.
Very impressive !! Thank you .....
Thank you Steven and thank you for watching.
Thoroughly enjoyed your video/wander through these sacred grounds informative enlightening I was amazed at just how many well known people were in amongst the ordinary folk.
Thank you Tony 😊
Love the music in this. Very apt x
You filmed this very sensitively. Thank you. Isn’t John Inman there too?
Thank you. Yes, I believe he is.
Peter sellers. A very talented funny man. The pink panther strikes again his master piece 😂😂😂

I liked it there. So much history and extremely peaceful ✌️
Both my grandparents and others of my family ashes are there.

Thank you for watching. You keep those ashes close for as long as you need to. Love to you ❤️
@@TravelWithLisaMH TY❤
I to have kept my late wife ashes, shall never part with them .
Also they can help with a vampire attack. Joking they have been blessed though.

Was hoping you had John Inman
Sadly... I've been their too many times.... But every time I leave... a small part of me stays
❤️
Our crematorium at Peterborough allows ashes to be scattered in the open near our rose beds
I've just never heard of it before. I mean, ashes are scattered everywhere I the open but at Golders Green they were so visible

Salute to Peter Sellers as well, great actor 👍
I know right 🤣

I'll look her up. Going back in a couple of weeks. Thank you for watching and commenting ☺️
@@TravelWithLisaMH Thanks. Love to see her plaque. Her ashes are spread out on the grounds.
My concern would be that someone's ashes would end up in the grass box of a lawnmower. ☹️
I know right! I haven't seen it anywhere else but I am sure other crematoriums spread ashes in the open 🤷🏻♀️
Fantastic watch
Thank you 😊
Is it free entry? Is there a map for famous burials?
Yes & yes. You can download the maps online 👍
@@TravelWithLisaMH I tried to find online to no avail. Care to share the link?

Great watch but I can't say I'm to keen on the term dispersal area...sounds like words they would use at your local refuse site...bit undignified
It is a bit clinical I think. I agree it's a strange term. Thank you for watching 😊
Liz Fraser was cremated there, is there a plaque up for her?? Thank you x
There maybe. I didn't see it though. Sorry
@@TravelWithLisaMH Thx Lisa x
The actor Mike Pratt ("Randall & Hopkirk Deceased") was cremated here, his ashes were scattered in section 2
Thank you. I will definitely be re visiting.
I love that music what is it ?
Robert Austin - a sacred place and walk in the sun. It's one of the two as both are on the video
@@TravelWithLisaMH both of them !
Both songs are in the video
@@TravelWithLisaMH it's the second track I can't find on the video 😫
The link to the music is in the video description hun
Looks like a well-managed boneyard..
7.01 is that bomb damage?
Don't think so
Very interesting but not for me,I do wish to be cremated but hopefully my ashes will be scattered somewhere more free, like a mountain side or the ocean
The ocean is my plan too. Thank you for watching 😊
My mums aunt is buried there, so the celebs are in good company 🙂
They are indeed John 👍
My ex wife brother was cremated there he was a actor Gordon Jackson
Oh wow. Great actor too. Thank you for sharing that.
@@TravelWithLisaMH I think it was around 1989 are 1990 as I was stationed at aldershot in the army
Gordon Jackson was a big star in his day and a brilliant actor who appeared in many top rated films and television productions.
Upstairs downstairs fame loved it as a child
Where’s Freddie?
Who is Freddie?
I think Lindsey de Paul was also cremated there to
It's the second track sorry
Was Sellers Jewish?
Jewish origins I believe. Not bought up Jewish.
