@@Goji782 I hope you enjoy it! I wish I had a way to pose him in the swimming position, I have to make some sort of cradle for that.
Nice review, mine came damaged from Amazon (hand won't stay on and a couple of Dorsal fins snapped). Trying to exchange it, but it's not in stock anymore and can't find it anywhere.
I really hope that the upcoming Minus Colored version has a different sculpt even just a slight difference especially at the head woud be really good for me since in my opinion this figure is excellent but the head sculpt is "bad" and the pricing is insane so I really really hope the Minus Color variant isn't just a recolor
I'm sure they'll release other versions of this guy, but I'm really not liking any of these new interpretations with blue spines that I'm seeing. What looked awesome in the movie looks...a little weird in figure form. So, presumably we'll get another version with blue dorsals, and one that's B&W - could this one be the only "standard" / "classic" Minus Goji they release? That's why I didn't hesitate. (And bought 2. 😅) Love your review!
Hey thanks for the kind words! Yeah I agree, this version of Godzilla looks so good in his singular but subtly complex color pallet, the blue looks a tad strange.
I love this figure
For all the potential variants I would see 4 different one
1- the original one "in the review"
2- atomic breath version
(the same figures but with dorsal plates turned on and the inside of his jaw )
(With and atomic breath + nuclear mushroom )
3- black and white recolor (because minus color)
4- battle damage version (end of the movie)
(spoiler warning) With an alternate half destroyed head
Sorry to burst your bubble but with recent trends it seems only an atomic variant is likely. It’s easy for bandai to just add blue paint on an existing toy. However, getting a beam effect and mushroom cloud to go with it? Dream on buddy. They wouldn’t give us that without charging $200 for it.

I feel like they dropped the ball on the paint around the head. It looks kinda cute over scary compared to the prototype.
Yeah, I can see that. The nice thing is that it's posable enough to get some good roaring poses where he looks more fierce.
The eyes are off the eye sculpt lmao

@@CepiTheNomad honestly even less because $100 is still a lot for no accessories considering how many opportunities the movie gave like you said.
