watching this video during a mental breakdown (BECAUSE MY EXAMS ARE SO SOON AND I KNOW NOTHING), so i wanna thank you for that intro! really put a smile on my face
Brandon, so considerate of you to give us such a pleasant introduction and conclusion. It lifted my spirits up for the statistics final coming up. And your explanation was incredible, it cleared up most of the confusion I had so far with the basics, thank you so much!! Bless your soul
Honestly came here because I have a midterm in two days and don't know what is happening in the class. Your intro made me cry. Thank you so much, it's nice to hear that from somebody
Hi Brandon, I'd like to genuinely thank you for the production of your videos. Though I try to seek help and work diligently through my class, Statistics can be really challenging and frustrating. Your comments about our ability and efforts are kind, and I truly appreciate them. Thank you again, and know your videos and kind words motivate me to continue to try!
Thank you so much for your videos. They literally saved me. I couldn't understand my classes at all during 3 months, and I managed to pass my exams after watching your videos. Thank you for your great explanations, patience and kindness!
Brandon, these videos are so great !!! You have saved me. I'm in Honor's Statistics at university, but I've NEVER had stats before so it has been very confusing trying to learn all of the terms and formulas. I didn't know when I registered for the class it would be so difficult. I'm a 98 and 99 math kind of gal, but this stuff is tough. With your help, I finally get it ! Thank you a million times over for the way you structure your videos. You are a God send.
I watched many videos about many subjects ( cause I am a pharmacy student) but your intro make me cry ... cause only 5% of people can understand other feelings , finally I found a man among this 5% thank u 💓
I'm so grateful to have found your playlists. You are the first person who has ever been able to explain these concepts to me in a way that makes sense. Thank you.
I feel better after hearing the intro , honestly I've been struggling to my statistic sub. In school , and I just wanted to improve myself and my grades this coming finals
If is a single population then the rule of thumb is a sample size between 30 and 100; that is all you need due to diminishing returns of adding more. Beyond that, I think about the smallest way I might slice my data. If I need to conduct analysis on: 1) women, 2)between 30-39 years old, 3) non-smokers, 4) from Bristol, England, then I need to sample large enough to get at least 30 meeting that characteristic. There is no real loss in an overly large sample beyond time and money.
Hi Aabi! The sampling distribution is a theoretical collection of many point estimators, in this case many sample means (a point estimator). So we could take the average height of 30 adult men and get a sample mean (point estimator for the entire population of men). Repeat (another point estimator). Repeat. Repeat. If we put all those means into their own distribution, we have the sampling distribution.
I wish my father can be half as inspiring and supportive as you Mr.Brandon. Heck, I'd be so grateful even if he posses 1-fourth of that positivity. Anyway, tks alot. Eventhough many people have talked about how great your intro is but I still wanna show my gratitude. Keep up the good work
I love how you encourage your viewers to continue what they’re doing, keep spreading positivity, and the positivity that you’ve given to others might come back to you more that you’ve anticipated, Godbless Mr. ❤️
Bradon, thank you very much! It is very helpful! A lot of people like me know how to calculate numbers using formula. But they like me don't know why they are doing it. Your videos filled the gap. Amazing! Please make more videos. I plan to watch all of your video once I have time.
Hey, man. Thank you for your encouraging words! I had almost begun to lose hope because I couldn't understand the textbook. This video cleared things up and made point estimation seem more simple. You have a new subscriber. :)
Loved the way you started..Clear explanations slowly as everyone would expect. I would like you to put what video to see next and prerequisite videos if any, so that we can the lessons the way it has to be learnt for better understanding. Enjoyed your video..Great work.
I haven't even finished watching the video and I love it!! Great motivational speach at the beginning!!! Can't wait to finally get back on track!!! I've been looking for some one like you to explain statistics thoroughly!!
I like the video and think it is very helpful for beginners and know you mention it in the beginning in the video, but it would help if you also put that this video is for beginners in the title, because I am doing econometrics and was hoping you would actually explain what a point estimator is in detail.
These videos are awesome, and I have recommended them to others in my class. One small piece of feedback is that I'd like to see how to understand and calculate sample proportion (unless I'm missing something and it went over my head). But keep on doing the good work!
suggestion: if possible please choose a research topic, and show the full procedure from first to last with some effective analysis model by using several software like SPSS, Matlab or something else. That might be helpful as more practical knowledge. you are doing great, I'm your big fan. Thank you very much for your hard work
Your comments about our ability and efforts are kind, and I truly appreciate them. Thank you again, and know your videos and kind words motivate me to continue to try!
Regarding the Highway Paving samples, thank you for clarifying that the term sample is all 15 specimens and not the individual measurements/specimens itself.

Wait a minute, for 13:00, I thought the error component is expressed as the "critical areas" in the tails. Am I missing something?
@@hyungjoonpark83 It's another way of saying the rejection zones or the significance levels or the alpha or the complement to confidence interval
thank u for this especially the intro 😊
Thank you Brandon.
Your explanations are really helpful! Really appreciate your efforts and help, thank you very much Brandon! :) :)
