Was checking this out earlier and with talk about the Blackbeard pirates going to wano so heavy makes very easy to spot a big catch for them. Them going there could lead to some major abilities being gained an more.

I watched Monster so long ago, Syv, I thought that Tenma chose to save a kid over an old rich man, but the story of the monster when Johan's sister tells it from the story book, is so good, It's one of the very few shows I watched in English and not in JP but it takes place in Germany/Bavaria so I thought it made sense to watch it in English, it has very good Voice Acting and Tenma's VA is one of the very few ultra good VAs, Liam O'Brien, same voice actor as Yasuo LOL) Also the show is called Monster, not Monsters. I was confused when you guys started talking about it, I thought you meant the JP Drama lol.
But yea Monster is one of the best anime I've ever watched. It's amazing. And that's cause Johan, was such a beautiful name....

The absence of the God's Knights is entirely intentional IMO. Garling is stonewalling the Gorosei. The last thing they did from our perspective was 38 years ago. When Garling wasn't the Commander. After God Valley, he becomes Commander at some point, and the God's Knights drop off the face of the earth. Coincidence?
Garp said the celestials should have expected Rocks to retaliate. Garling doesn't seem like a fool, so it's possible he did want Rocks to attack. Something very suspicious about God Valley, is Ginny aquiring WG den den mushi and knowing the prizes. The den den mushi could have been given by any marine, however the info on the prizes seems like sensitive info only high ranking celestials would be aware of. Another thing that's suspicious is Shanks being placed in a chest. Babies are not 'lost'. They are stolen, or given away. And Shanks was placed in the chest, meaning, most likely, someone gave him away. The only culprit we have for that is Garling himself.
But what might his motivation be? Perhaps staging the death of the former Commander so that he can take over and end the native hunting games under the false pretense of safety concerns? Perhaps after he met the pirates, he felt that any one of them would offer his son a better childhood than he could. So he placed his son in a prize chest before escorting the celestials off the island, while Garp, Roger, and Rocks were fighting.
Ease up a little. We know Garling is the enemy of the revolutionaries (or at least it's oda's intention for us to think so and the WG is meant to be that way). I think you're convinced he's much nicer and finer than he actually is. But who knows... Maybe you're right and Dragon and the God Nights are really butt buddies and sneak out without telling their parents and guardians they're breaking the rules.
@@GourSmith Well, that's the thing. He said the final war starts when they assemble. Maybe that will be the point at which Garling openly turns on the Gorosei. Perhaps by sending each God's Knight to fight their worst matchup on the Straw Hat crew. Then he and Shanks confront the Gorosei together, leaving Imu to Luffy. Oh man, a dual divine departure would be so sick. Kinda like Dorry and Brogy's combo.
The thing that tipped me off was Kizaru. He says "I should have brought darker shades." Garling's eyes during the Mjosgard execution scene are masked by a dark pair of shades. When he says "those who protect scum, sink even lower", he's right. Those who protect scum DO sink even lower. But who does Garling view as the scum in this scenario? The mermaid princess or the celestials? I think it's telling that he is 'sunken' in his chair after defending the celestials.
At God Valley he kills the king, but we need to ask ourselves what would have happened to the king had Garling not killed him. We know what the fallen celestial, Doflamingo did. He extracted every ounce of suffering he could, by making the king kill his own people. It's possible Garling was simply saving him from a slow, agonizing end, by giving him a quick and painless one.
The announcer at God Valley says Garling is only going after high value targets. The high value targets are most likely pirates which had bounties. We see several enslaved pirates at Shabondi, so that would make sense. If that is the case, then what Garling is doing isn't much worse than what east blue Zoro was doing before he joined the crew. Taking the heads of pirates for booze money.
When you just look at it from the top down view, if Garling really did end all future native hunting games, he's saved more lives in the past 38 years than probably anyone on the planet. That's 12 hunting games that never happened. But the price was those high value rabbits he had to hunt in order to maintain his appearance of innocence to the other Celestials. He provoked rocks intentionally, he gave Ginny the info and the snails, and he put Shanks in the chest. And IMO he caused the former Commander to fall in battle.l at God Valley. Maybe not directly, but perhaps there was an "accident". A little slip up. 😉

What we're seeing isnt a recording IMO. The dead Vegapunks still exist inside Punk Records. Vegapunk's brain is still alive.
What if Vegapunk reveals the meaning of D? The D clan are known as devils. If Vegapunk reveals the secret of these "devils" I can see the Marines on Egghead turning on the Gorosei. Maybe Vegapunk knows that even if the broadcast is stopped outside of Egghead, there's no way to stop the Marines on the island from hearing. And that will force the retreat of the Gorosei. Leaving Egghead in under the protection of the Marines that originally attacked it. The VAs having a dog motif is relevant. This is the moment where the dog bites the hand that feeds.
The meaning of D? It represents a promise from Joyboy to "deliver" the world from war and slavery. Deliverance is the Bible's term for liberation. The drums of deliverance.
The catch is that Joyboy was a "traitor". The ancient kingdom wasn't always good. It adopted the ideology of Joyboy, after Joyboy defeated them on behalf of the 20 kingdoms. He was their general. Imu led the kings including Lili. When Imu learned that Joyboy was promising the Ancient Kingdom that they wouldn't be oppressed, he lied to the other kings and told them Joyboy had defected and joined the enemy. Imu led a crusade against Joyboy and his Buccaneer kin, who were defending the Ancient Kingdom.
Joyboy had seized the ancient weapons during his campaign, so when the WG turned on him, Uranus was sent to annihilate the capital city along with Joyboy. That city is what's now known as Enies Lobby. Joyboy used a balloon style move to protect the city from Uranus. Joyboy managed to burn out Uranus' power core and protect the city, but he died afterwards. The poneglyphs were created as Joyboy's contingency plan in case he died. When Lili read them she uncovered Imu's deception. Instead of sending the poneglyphs into the hole at Enies Lobby with her paw paw fruit, she sent them all over the world. Then she adopted the D and moved to an island in the Calm Belt.

Straight up the Kaido needs to come back just to train Momo into shape. What if he does, gets oart way through then gets killed by Moria. What if the reason Momo opens the borders because it’s a choice between hand over weapon or the country dies from BB Purates?
