TX-SU Snares sounds so much better with those Black Max Heads on the Snares! Just get rid of them damn Sabin Cymbals and bring in some 20in Zildjian Cymbals and your set! Them Sabins Cymbals sound like crap

TxSU has always had 18's and, to my knowledge, has never felt the need to upgrade to 20"s. More than likely, they are aware of the outside pressure but are happy with the sound that they produce to compliment the drum line's style. If the instructor thinks that 18" works better, then 18" is what will be used.
