At your first Final in the Lowkey, I was like "oh, that won't go well" but it does. What I mean is, it's suprising how fast this Jet can bleed airspeed, if needed. Thank you for showing this "basic" or fundamental things. It helps me to learn and understand the DCS Viper much better. I own it since it has been released and haven't droped or fired any weapon, just doing basic stuff.

Hey Lemoine! A couple days back, a Pakistani F-16 crashed while the the pilot, a Wing Commander (equivalent to USAF LTC), was practicing aerobatic maneuvers for an upcoming parade. The official statement was that there was a malfunction and he tried to steer the craft away from a residential area instead of ejecting and went down with it. This might as well be, but I'm old enough to have seen a handful of similar statements from the Pakistani authorities (I am Pakistani) in the aftermath of a peacetime fighter jet crash but in the case of an F-16, I find it hard to believe because these well maintained jets are prized possessions of the PAF which have always had extensive support from Lockheed Martin and US government contractors. In this era of cameras and internet everywhere, however, videos often turn up. There's one of this too...and to my non-pilot's eye, it looks like the pilot made a mistake. It is a sad incident because a father with young kids died, but that doesn't absolve anyone of telling the truth. ruclips.net/video/rS_5JK5Q3OM/видео.html
I've noticed a large pitch change when bringing the gear up and the flaps coming up. Is that similar to the real flight model? Other aircraft the nose down pitch isnt as pronounced. Just wondering if the current flight model is more abrupt than the actual viper. Thanks for the video. I'm looking forward to what's to come with the Viper in DCS.
the F18 does it as well and AEW who was a hornet navy fighter puke (HI AEW  haha) said it was abnormal for the f18. so I would say the f16 as well. there may be one difference the flaps are automatic in the f16 vs manual in the hornet maybe they do something weird...

You have a lot of experience. I only have 8000 hrs on 737 and 747 in real life. Boooooring😂 (just kidding, love both planes)
Happy Veterans Day!

@@CWLemoine ahhh fair enough we all have that problem, thanks for the insight.
