Most of the time we rode in my husband’s uncles car since he has a vacation home and a car out there but it’s really common for people to use public transportation. In Lake Atitlan we hired a boat driver to take us from town to town and then hired a tuk tuk driver to drive us around. Tuk tuks are really popular in Guatemala.
