OK, I've been following this Jaron Lanier for the last couple of days because some how he ended up in my feed. I'm not a very smart person, but I'm intrigued by the historical contributions of Socrates, Plato, Newton, Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Tesla, etc...and this Jaron, in comparison to today's social philosophers....is way the "!$@#" smart. Wow, he is by far the most open-minded, multiplatform-informed person I have come across outside of the traditional historic figures on Social Paradigms and Influences. I saw that he composes "Classical Music", which can be taken in a few different ways...but I haven't come across anything "classical" yet. Curious if he really knows how to play that 9' grande, and more importantly, if he knows who J.S. Bach, WA Mozart and Beethoven are....on a deeper level, that which he apparently exists in so many technological and social realities. Let me know if you want a lesson....I suck from an academic point of view, but the "Deeper" of Beethoven exists in my musical musings...if that makes sense. facebook.com/events/1963516983669067/
