Weili is doing what Bruce Lee did for Chinese people and Chinese run/coached martial arts in the late 60's early 70's. I think for too many decades after Bruce Lee passed away...people while more educated about martial arts still didn't think much of Chinese martial arts or Chinese martial artists on a world scale. Not having any Chinese professional fighters to say Chinese martial artists are more than "old Chinese people in parks practicing Tai Chi or doing unrealistic fight scenes in HK films". Weili, has brought attention to Chinese combat arts like Zanda and the version she studied...forget the name...Should be more Chinese full-contact combat art schools popping up. Now, if only China could send over a male version of Weili...for the lightweight and middleweight classes. Dominate Connor McGregor? And I'd think MMA people would want to seek out Weili's people to coach them...though they train out of Beijing...will hardcore MMA people be willing to travel to Beijing, live and train there if they get her coaches to work with them too? Or, maybe they are 100% training Weili only..shrug..

JJ does have one RNC sub win, way back in 2012. Realistically, Joanna is going to keep it on her feet and snipe with kicks and punches. She doesn't want to risk being in Weili's brawling and grappling range. It'll be really unhealthy for her.
