Ah yes, the classic C&C "leave barely alive enemy and max out your base/army before map expands" mission. In particular MARV Rising from C&C3 comes to mind since enemies spawn from 2 sides of the map while you have to defend a captured structure. Without abusing the "no-timer slow build up in the early phase" missions like those could be annoying, but since you can just chillax and build up a deathball - fun times.
