Fantastic boat! The work room is very user specific but can be adjusted to be many things. The security of the boat is awesome and something that I would appreciate and routinely make use of. The doors from the old convent or monastery are priceless and easily justify the price. They could be stained by someone like…me, for example which would give it a very polished look, as will straightening out the cupboards to make it look more finished because it is, most certainly, complete. I think, besides a little polish inside, the only thing I would change is the skull on the trim work on the outside. If the original artist can be found, I would ask them to put a little skin on it. Maybe a vinyl silhouette to look like a cameo that would leave the artwork intact. I would use the tattoo parlor as a bedroom for a grandson, if I could convince him to change residence to a narrowboat and he might leave it untouched save the addition of a bed and use the chair for gaming. Hehe. Otherwise, I would use it for a studio and put some sort of bed cabinet in for visiting grandchildren. She is absolutely perfect and she would make a beautiful home for…me. Again. It’s all about me and the boat that I would happily and proudly call home. I love her!!! But I only have 20% of the price in hand. I should not have watched this video because no other boat will ever satisfy me after seeing this one and there aren’t many monasteries around to get doors like this. Yes, I could make them but it’s not the same thing. While I am not nosy by nature, I am very curious what would cause the owner to part with her. Did they retire to a castle with a working drawbridge? I am not joking. I do hope that they are okay!
Brilliant boat ticks all the boxes I can think off. Great to see the Commodore and he chasing off an interloper! A mere deckhand maybe? The cheek, but our Bumble sorted him/ her out. Yes I’d convert that workspace into a guest bedroom as I am fanatically social!
By golly! If she were a narrowboat, I'd be packing my bags and setting up an appointment with James, while scribbling out the money transfer! Any repairs needed, would be a joy to work on, when the end result is everything I love about a boat! I mean, there would be a few alterations for personal taste, but overall, she's a fine example of classical English taste in home construction!
The Guy that has lived on this boat has added lots of Character... It does feel like a man cave.... I would need to install a larger fridge & colouful washroom... But some one will love it for the right price😘
I have mixed feelings about this boat. I like that it's a wide beam, but not as wide as some. You have to love the goth aesthetic of the boat, because otherwise you're in for a lot of renovation. I do think the boat needs a good cleaning and updating. Put the diesel stove back in and get the heating working properly. The bath needs a proper shower. It would be an ideal boat for someone who wants to set up a business on the canals. It's a remarkable boat as is, but it could be stunning with the right work, keeping the aesthetic. At 109,500? Maybe a bit dear, but negotiate and do the renovation work yourself and you could have a fantastic home
I rarely critize the prices on here as they are normally reflective of the market prices. I did say rarely ! The existing paintwork needs repairs as there are multiple patches all over it and unless you like that paintwork you are up for a repaint. The insides are a pig sty and very hard to tell what they are really like. I agree with Keith there is a ton of potential but not at that price. There are other wide beams around in much better condition in this price range. The boats you sell reflect on Rugby Boats and this one you should have passed on.
You will need 2 months to scrub, clean then repaint & your telling us this is a travelling tattoo studio, love to know the hygiene status in there. Why so expensive.
I'm not really sure about this boat. It seems very old-fashioned for a boat so expensive. I think I'd just get a new build. I hate all the clutter. I'm a one plate, one fork, one cup kind of person
At that price, will he throw in a full sleeve tattoo? Hehe. I would get ride of the tattoo studio and address the aft deck with what appears to be rather rust/messy. But let's be honest, the real star of this video is Bumble.
Oh wow I absolutely LOVE this! 😍
props on that cutaway edit of the engine
Well of course the engine has a prop....

This is the first one I’ve ever been disappointed with!
I saw this boat a few years ago and thought it was stunning.

What lovely character!
I have a hand bag that goes with this boat. I love this boat.
It's got potential . However for £110k I don't want potential, I want the finished article which this certainly is not
You really dont have a clue, do you? 😅
What a great opportunity. Got me thinking already.
If I had a boat it would look just like this!
Plot twist at the end… and suddenly it all makes perfect sense

Would make a good setting for a horror movie set on a Boat.
Very Gothic.
Wit woo. That is adorable!

Interesting layout
Bumble, you’re heroic !
Quite an event, a widebeam moving in Milton Keynes....
Beautiful
I am a windows person. Must be a bit suffocating inside with those portholes for the size of the boat
Stunning

Get a sunseeker for that!

90k tops no xtra for your own design
Shame the tattooist couldn't spell "travelling".

Definitely a Marmite boat.
109500
Total mess
It’s very individual! I love it though
Weird paint job.
No no for me.
