Thanks dude. Just starting a job that use Mazak, never heard of it before as I've always seen either FANUC or Siemens programming. Better to be prepared, even though they seem very similar.
DUDE. NEVER manually approach the sensor from the same axis in which you are setting. Go to a XZ clearance point. About .20 away in X and Z. If setting in Z axis, wheel down in X axis to the sensor center. Set to measure. Jog in Z to the right then go left and touch off. THAT helps prevent bumping the sensor in manual.
Hey man. I just recently found your channel and I am really enjoying it. I have not seen many how to mazak and mazatrol videos out there. I have a few questions for you if you don't mind offering the knowledge. I am learning this machine for the first time and the guy who runs it doesn't know much about it. I've figured out a bunch of things on my own but I have a few questions on a couple specific things I want to be able to do. Do you have an IG or email that we could perhaps chat on? Thanks so much in advance for getting back to me!
you set your "G54" with any tool that's already probed there is no G54 in mazak ID boring my experience is IT HAS TO BE EXACT or you'll get sh** results much like OD turning tools it's realy not the probe but it's how youd define your tool in EDIT TOOL
Great videos !!! I start on a Mazak Integrex on monday ...and these videos helped me learn how to program them ....Thank You :)
Thanks for taking the time to make these videos! How do you use the tool eye to touch off a drill? Touch in X and add the radius?

He didn't learn the right way, I guess he has one year experience. Can't even make a manual program.
Tool nose radius is either .0156 or .0313 by the look of that insert standard.

If at all possible, can you show me how I would touch off tool on Mazatrol without a probe.

You don't need to scroll down Ro the tool you want to measure as this already happens when you push tool measure.
Richard Bautsch Unless you have multiple pre sets of that tool such as 7A 7B 7C...
