I would personally stock up excessively on toiletries and dried food items! Massive regret from when I first went to uni, I literally took nothing with me!

In my first year halls we weren't allowed to use blue tack or 'put anything on the walls' however most of us did. If you're worried about using blue tack, as sometimes is does stain the wall, use white tack. Does the same thing in terms of sticking things to the wall, but doesn't leave a residue/stain when you take it down at the end of the year.

inlove with your accent, im off to uni in september, im not moving but my parent have given me the spare room for my computer so i obsess with peoples themes with ideas to decorate it
If you want to put stuff on the walls, you can use command hooks, they don't leave any trace behind that they were there so they might be worthwhile investing in if you want to use the space xx

A good way to put up anything on walls in halls without damaging them is to use wash tape. You can get all sorts of different designs and colours as well

I'm sure someone has probably already commented this but nearly all university halls say "you can't put things on the wall" but everyone does! Use command strips and command hooks,they're amazing they don't ruin the walls so you can take everything down at the end of the year and not get charged for it!

You can buy little velcro strips that you stick on the wall- they'll hold up posters, paintings, photo frames etc. When you want to take them off, they peel off and don't leave any marks at all! They have been my uni essential! You can also get little hooks from the same company which are a-m-a-zing for fairy lights. Good luck at uni, I'm so jelly that you're starting and I've just graduated! xxx

I'm moving to Uni this September aswell and I've literally bought everything the same as you, before I saw this video. I've gone for the exact same theme, bedding, pillows, the decorations from Primark, everything 😂💕 Good luck for when you go to Uni 😊💕

You could get those command strips to hang stuff on. They don't mark or damage walls 😊

Command hooks are great they stick on your walls but you can take them off but they come off clean. If you ask you may be able to use them

I'm currently going into my 3rd year at uni and we got told every year that we couldn't put things on the walls and everyone did so don't worry too much about it😘😘 also a little tip, if you haven't already - you'll definitely need a lamp! I didn't have one for my first few weeks at uni and it was awful😂 X

Matalan do some of a similar size minus the zip closure at the top (they're just open). They're only £3
Your theme is the same as what I had in my halls room! Also top tip: don't forget big scissors x
You should try white tack as its perfect for hanging pictures and posters and it would show up also you should try command hooks or strips as well as they don't leave anything an are perfect for hanging pictures and lights and posters!!!!!

If you aren't allowed blutack on the wall, maybe try paper tape? It doesn't take the paint off/damage the wall :)

Hey! Sorry I’m a bit late haha but I’m loving your uni videos as I’m moving to uni in September! How much stuff did you take with you? Do you think you took too much as I’m planning on taking 2 cars but worried I’ll be taking too much! x
I took 2 cars and had a lot of stuff in hindsight! But I felt comfortable and at home with the amount of stuff I had and definitely settled in better because I felt more at home! Don’t feel like you are taking too much, if you know that the stuff you are taking will help you settle in better then it’s worth it! You want to make your transition as smooth as possible! X
I’m way too late but most unis allow command hooks and contacts paper so that would’ve been a good idea to decorate xx
