I've seen people doing a speedrun in less time but they just leave out the secondary targets. Yes I know I left out the safe I'm really annoyed about that and I completely forgot it whilst I was tryna go fast but oh well.

Used this exact route on my first run though of the heist during X2 payout period and made out with 2.5mil solo, thank you for this video definitely saved me alot of trouble.

Tip for others trying to run Cayo: At 6:49, if you aren’t good at timing kills like this, you can simply just throw your sticky bomb at these guards specifically and no one notices. Cracks me up every time I do it lol
That’s right this works really well. Although they did kind of nerf this recently because the guards are much better at hearing now

Nice clean run ! I’ve started getting secondary loot before primary though as it makes it easier because the extra guards only spawn after getting the primary loot. Making it easier to loot without guards spotting you .
Ah yes I saw someone do like a 4/5 minute speedrun using this method I might have to give it a go
@@MarkySharky do you need the demolition chatge to get that stuff?
@@planettiny8761 nah if your doing it solo then I would get the secondary loot at the air strip with the long fin ( you will need the blow torch). After this you want to drive around the coast to the drainage tunnel and get in through there. Then you can just get your primary loot 💰
@@Ace.001 thanks I figured it out. I go through the drainage tunnel with the long fin, then use the main dock and get a full loot bag.

this helped me really much, i was doing the longfin approach, i play gta 5 online for 1 week only then i got bored of that missions, decided to switch to one faster and more enjoyeble and managed to do it not as fast but comfortably and used the experience of the easy longfin to do the work, i had to search another secundary targets locations though, not always that one will be full

There is another spawn in the main Dock that I would check. Then there are 2 others backups in case there's nothing there either. I'm currently making a video on how to do the heist quickly and easily and I go more detail on that so stay tuned for that!
@@MarkySharky thanks bud. I have done the heist 20-30 times, but all one way(kosatka) and I am trying to branch out to other methods...the guard clothes and truck were at the airstrip last time, so I went in via the velium, I loved it!
@@hankscorpion Yeah thats a good idea! You actually get 250k for using all approach vehicles too which is pretty nice. My favourites overall are the kosatka and longfin. The alkonost is also pretty cool too

Are there any other routes to get to secondary loot? bc I saw one vid where a guy just took a boat near the compound and drove it towards the airport, is that a viable Strat?
There are quite a few options. For example if you get 2 paintings in El Rubios compound and fill your bag up from that you can just drive off the edge of a cliff and swim out to sea to complete the mission even quicker.
But apart from that I think the main dock is probably the quickest as its the closest
If your not as confident in your not getting spotted after robbing him, you can also take the long swim around either side of the island to the airport and Rob the hanger

I don’t understand how you can unload so many shots into the guys on the dock, I miss one shot and I’m detected 😕
As long as the shots go into their body then you stay undetected. If you miss a shot and it hits a wall you have a much higher chance of being detected
personally, I always go into cayo finale kinda nervous. like bruh its so much easier if u stick on some calming music and take ur time (if u arent going for elite challange)
Haha I like the sound of that. Some lofi hip hop or jazz music in the background whilst robbing El Rubio 😌
Pro tip : u can put sticky bomb on the front of the helicopter before it fly so u can explode it when its in air but it well not die its just will get away 🙂
Yes that’s very useful if you get caught! I mentioned it in my heist guide. However I still think you’re better off going stealthy 🥷

If I didn't scope out the secondary target in the gathering Intel mission can I still go to that same secondary target location like you did In the video to fill up my loot bag during the heist?
Yes you can! You don’t actually need to scope out the secondary targets - that’s just to make them appear on your minimap. You can just go to the locations and hope for the best during the heist

I usaly go for a office evelator and then steal the primary target so i always go stealth

Im sorry if this question has been asked before but how can you put the heist on hard mode
Yeah you will receive a text from Pavel 5-10 after completing a heist saying you can go again but it will be harder. From that text you have 48 minutes (1 in game day) to start a new heist and it will be in hard.

Thought u could help. I have scoped out the heist but have not seen and secondary targets. I think it's because I am solo. I am looking for the ones outside the compound not inside. Just wondering if u could help.

Only reason I don’t like this route. Is that you don’t go into the office. Between the paintings and the safe it’s around 250-300k you miss out on just by skipping one fingerprint hack.
Plus. If you get a painting It makes it so you only need 2 secondary loot piles vs 3 to fill loot bag if you don’t get coke at the main dock to get elite challenge. Just makes time at the dock that much quicker and reduced guards you need to kill.
I normally do swing by the office, especially if there’s paintings there 100% worth it. I would be able to get a great speed run if I was blessed with 2 paintings in the office 🙏
@@MarkySharky I constantly get shit loot spawns. I usually have to loot both main dock and airport hanger to get elite solo with the bad spawns. North dock isn’t worth the hassle IMO.
@@iiruok7258 No definitely don’t go for north dock. If you check out my heist finale guide I covered some good locations near the main dock which you can get if there’s not enough loot there
I have another question and I’ve noticed this literally every time I do the heist in hard mode and finally I saw someone else with the same problem. The problem is: my target value on hard is the same as normal. For example, at 5:36, it says your pink diamond is worth 1.3 million when it should be 1.43 million on hard mode. But at 12:37 it says your primary target value is 1.43 million.... so what is actually your target value?
So I think when you're doing the heist it will count the value as normal and when the heist is over it multiplies it by 1.1 to give it the hard mode value. But the weird thing is the value of my bag doesn't get bigger so I'm not sure whats going on there maybe its another glitch

What exit route did you put onto the screen in the sub
It was the Main Dock but it doesn't actually matter which one you choose. There is a much faster way which I'll be making a RUclips Short / TikTok on soon!
I'm gonna use the kosatka to get their get the main objective get secondary with the mother cycle outside of the compound and then leave with the kosatka is it good
So basically the way I did it? Yeah I think it's a great method!

A full bag of gold is the best, but you can only get that if you have 2 or more people.

@@MarkySharky Kosatka through the drainage. good key spawns, 2 rubio paintings, then when you leave out the front gate, hook a left to the south end of the island and merc a boat and steal it. Doesnt make you go loud, even if you fail to kill them. videos on my channel and theres a lot of room for improvement. Im no speedrunner lol
