Yeah you can start on RUclips or buy a kit, I started with a Woobles kit, it was very helpful as it had very very easy to follow video tutorials and all the supplies you need to make a plushie, and they have like collab kits with brands like Harry Potter, BT21, Sanrio, And Peanuts! And it was very helpful just to give me the skill to actually crochet, and from there you can follow other tutorials on RUclips easier to crochet clothes and stuff, since you already have the basic knowledge to crochet! 🩷🩷

My 5 year old son is obsessed with teddy bears. From his 1st birthday until now, I have gotten him that birthday bear at Build a Bear every year. Because you pay your age 😂 I always spend a ridiculous amount of money on new outfits for what is basically the same bear year after year. But let's not kid ourselves, part of the fun of build a bear is making your own bear. Along with his build a bear bears, I have also crocheted him about 15 different teddy bears in various shades of green because green is his favorite color. I love your bear outfit. I don't know why it never crossed my mind to crochet outfits for my bears but now that is something I plan to do. I even have a Cheer Bear carebear from build a bear that I got back when my daughter was 2 (she is 9 now) and she once upon a time had a shirt and who knows where it went. But now it's going to have clothing once again!

5:00 Here’s a tip! (I don’t know much about sewing, ESPECIALLY crocheting but my mom sews and I know this!!) if you don’t want the seams to show then once your done, flip it inside out!! Unless you can’t because of something, I don’t know much about this stuff but I hope it helps!! 😁😁

I am a beginner crocheter but I would definitely try wobbles crochet kits! As a beginner myself that had no prior knowledge they had hands on videos teacher you every step! They provide you with all the materials and would definitely recommend

I’m thinking I’m gonna scale it down a little bit to use for my American girl dolls because I don’t exactly have plushies that can wear clothes, and I love making clothes for my dolls! So seeing this video got me really excited, the first thing I ever crocheted that wasn’t a blanket for my dolls or something was actually a jacket for them! I learned how to crochet when I was 10 and didn’t get super addicted til recently!
