Fantastic episode guys! Another god dead... Here we go again! This is such a wild campaign. My bet is on this goddess going to Vasilis, as Thalassa is so strongly tied to Thassa, and I don't know how the two would interfere. That said, with Thassa being neutral, she may specifically want Thalassa to make that space, much in the same way crufix did. Tyson's theory on Calan's ability is really interesting. If it's right, does that mean that Calan could potentially view what Theseos's plans are? Though with Theseos being able to somehow see Calan when he does view these things, he may have planned for that. I wonder if Calan can fully interact with The world when he is viewing it that way. That Theseos said about the timeline for Calan's beliefs changing is so interesting! And Calan's final bit about Theseos still being his friend was so sweet. I think after talking with Baxor, he realizes how much he has to lose if he lets Theseos go. I might be wrong though. Anyway, thanks for a great episode! ❤
Crazy stuff! Those are actually some great points! I am interested to see how all of that 'god essence' stuff works, moving forward. All of the gods that passed away in the past did it right in front of our party members they gave their essence to. I am interested to see how it goes with Nylea. Maybe she will visit in a vision or something? I don't know. I am also interested to learn more about how Calen's visions work. I think that is a great point! Maybe he can look into the future and see what he is planning on doing. Maybe that will be something we bring up again in the future. Unless Theseos somehow is able to have some sort of influence on when Calen sees him...that would be crazy! Either way, I think it might be worth a shot! Thanks for the great ideas!!
So now I’m wondering if Sophia wanted to forget her life and that’s why she didn’t really snap out of the fog. Where Alondros’s dad wanted to remember his life so once he was snapped out it it came back to him. Signs! What a good movie 😂 I also feel like a discus would hurt way more then a wooden bat. Jefferson saying “yeah that’s tough” to Tyson and then immediately moving on was so funny 😂 That thing is nightmare fuel for reals! I think that might be the scariest thing they ever fought so far, which is wild, but it was super creepy and holy crap the damage it would do! Alondros with the disintegration was SO COOL!!! Especially since I feel like both the gods he has, obviously the Hephaestus one (can’t remember his name 😅), but even Affara, are both like creation and life and so it was so cool seeing him wield the power of the exact opposite. Man those time flashes are crazy. And the fact that Theseus can see Calen is kinda wild. Like can other people see Calen too or is it just Theseus? And I totally think Theseus is heading out for Nilea dang it.
Ooooh! That is a good thought! I love that! That would actually make a lot of sense why she didn't snap out of it. That is now my head cannon! You got it! What a great movie! haha I agree though. A discus would hurt so much! It really has been the scariest thing we have fought so far! What a great monster! Ya, what a cool finishing move from someone who normally doesn't do that type of stuff! It was cool to see how Alondros's magic is being effected by his new deity influence. That was a really cool way to utilize flashes in D&D in a cool and effective way! Ya, Theseus being able to see Calen almost makes me wonder if Theseus has some sort of control over the visions. Or at least some kind of manipulation over them. That would be crazy!
I’m going to guess Signs for that movie reference. Been a hot minute since I’ve seen it though. I loved the moment that Alandros got with his father very touching. It was sad that Vasalis couldn’t get a moment like that with Sophia. Truly sad that she is a shell of a person. That thing that came out of the wheat field was basically an alien anyway so I think the party was right 😂 Vasalis’s first thought to burn the thing was awesome 😂 Bold of Tyson to assume that we actually play D&D. I blame my program for not playing as much anymore, but I digress. I would prefer to play in person!
Such a great movie! I would recommend checking it out again! I agree. It was sad to not have Vasilis get a moment to talk to her, when Alandros got one. However, @madisonalford5704 had a great theory about that that is now my head cannon! Ya, really! It was terrifying! Haha I mean fire was the only thing that worked in The Thing, so it was bound to work on that crazy thing too! Haha Haha sorry to assume! But hopefully you are able to play again soon! Until them I hope that at the very least watching us play can help get you through until you can play again!!

@ Oh I didn’t even think about Theseus potentially having influence or control over the visions. That would be insane!
