I think supercharging a e9x should be mandatory, thats when the real experience begins in my opinion. Of course it’s not cheap but if you can find a good used one on the forums that would be great
Although the wait might suck…the 135 would be the way to go man! It was cool seeing you at sun valley couple weekends ago. I appreciate the love for my car, I’ve got the G1 kit on my car and I would definitely go for it man!
Having owned my G1 supercharged M3 for about a year, I highly suggest it. Completely transforms the car while maintaining the high rev characteristics.
I have the same dilemma 😂 Every time I hit the canyons and dive into corners at full throttle, I think to myself "man I cannot supercharge this thing" but when I do a highway pull to redline, I'm like must get blower asap!! Haha maybe owning two E9X's is the best option!
33k miles, 4K miles roadtrips in my ess 550 kit. 6 years with the supercharger. No issues. Best thing for the health of these cars NA or not. Let it get to working temperature before pushing on it. That is the power these cars should have had. Note: spark plugs and valve cover gaskets need to be replace more often.
As a VT2-625 owner, one thing to praise about these G1 kits is the revised charge cooling system. Intake air temps are an issue in summer months, timing gets pulled for detonation safety and the car feels much much slower in the heat. Looking to upgrade to this new revised front mount unit that comes with the G1 kits. Otherwise, love the M3 way more supercharged!
I’ll be devils advocate here. I owned an ESS G1 supercharged e90 M3 and had absolutely no issues. Definitely an amazing system and it does not change the characteristics of the S65 engine. However, if I were do it again I would keep it NA and do a carbon intake and plenum combo instead. The power difference for me wasn’t that crazy and honestly I think the S65 provided the perfect balance of power NA.
YOU need to seriously consider moving out of mom & dad's house and move down to Raleigh NC.. Ya'll two look like little brothers together... Talk about FUN.. I can't stop smiling cause the both of you... congrats..
How bad does it effect the rod bearing mines were done, 15k miles ago and I beat on the car hard, did a whole drift day on track with it, I’m about to supper charger mine, should I start doing the rod barring more often
@@BMWROYALno you should probably build the motor if you want it to last…if you supercharge the S65 it will blow it’s just a matter of time without proper aftermarket main bearings, rod bearings, and rods…my dad has a mildly built S65 that’s been ESS SC for over 6 years with no issues…..you just got to wait till the OIL TEMPs come up to operating temperature, like over 15-20 minutes of driving before beating on the car (NOT GOING ABOVE 2.5-3k RPMs) he even did that on the stock engine and never replaced the rod bearings with the engine over 80k miles until (they showed little wear related to abuse when we tore the stock motor down together and built the block) he wanted to be safe with the SC and built his motor…..the Europeans like to make fun of us Americans for thinking rod bearings are an issue when in reality it’s all due to our driving habits, using the proper oil, and letting it get up to temp so the oil can lubricate the bearings properly……my dads car is currently at 155k ish miles, does oil tests every 2-4 oils changes, takes care of every issue it comes up with when it comes up and it’s still perfectly healthy/runs amazingly with him beating on it somewhat frequently with it being his “fun daily.”
@@BMWROYAL up to you honestly. I would at least be doing oil every 2- 3k miles if it's SC though. One guy who has an e93 around my area seized his mains shortly after getting his SC'ed. he also did have 120k miles when he when SC'ed. could be a factor..
@@n55Rob thank you for the info , and yeah I let me car sit for about 5-10 minute warming up no matter what temp it is outside, then wait until it gets up to temp before going above 3k
As an ESS G1 owner, I'd say, you need the 650 kit injectors (the G1 kit injectors aren't as good), and a tune from evolve. Secondly, the moment I went full catless with a non-resonated exhaust, the car woke up. I dyno'd 575hp with secondary cats, I think I'm closer to 600hp now. I'm also running a smaller pulley.
Only thing i hate about ESS is to me the plenum looks ugly compared to factory if i had to go Supercharger I'd rather search high and low for a G-Power Supercharger kit even if it costs more idc
@@ThicWhips I ain’t mad I just be watching all your content lol I understand plans always change. I said I wouldn’t modify every car I’ve had that has always been a lie.
Car does not these supercharger too many issues in long run ,,it just need test pipe and a good tune ..with good exhaust .200 cell cats ,,plus carbon plenums ..and it will be more than perfect ,,I have this set up..I am close to 460 hp..that’s more than enough .
But still it is NA ,,and that what make it special..supercharger is a joke ..unless you do it right ,,I mean you work in the engine with forged piston etc,,ask me how I know ,,it is just not safe with stock internal .
This dude above me doest know what he is talking about. I had my e92 M3 supercharged for the past 3 years and not a single issue.. As long as you do your rod bearings you are good

Uhhhh yeah supercharge it lol. I’ve seen this car around Raleigh a few times.
Do it!
Is it bad I laughed when he said "You can beat on it" LMFAOO

Yeah man I was thoroughly impressed
Agree.
DCT+ supercharger is a killer combo
I picked up a 2012 E92 Mineral White Extended Fox Red 2 months ago and just Started my build. This is my 3rd E92 I love these cars!!
A Combo made in heaven. Dream build, beautiful car man.

Appreciate this man!
Now that's a whip anyone can enjoy! Super clean build.

Thank you 🙌
Bro Chill!!!! Your content is too damn good. I'm addicted.
Zack, your build is a perfect 100!
Thank you!!
Just purchased an ESS 625 kit, can’t wait to install.
My biggest issue with supercharging S65's is the amount of strain on the main and rod bearings. But the smiles per mile well justifies the maintenance

Great build. For sure ESS supercharger has made a huge difference 💯💯👊🏽🙏🏽
Great car, great owner, great video!
Last analog M3.
Great build sheet
Just did PS2+'s on my F80 and watching this video makes me think I may need to have that too.
Great clean build. I’d love to see a manual sc, my dream build
Loving the feature films this and the g80 are some insane builds
See this car a lot daily! Beautiful build
How awesome!! This thing looks and sounds dialed in. DCT madness. Fuuuun!

I know Jon was like 👀👀 when those seat belt receptacles were routed through the seat belt hole on the recaros
Iykyk 😂
These guys just became BFF s 😂 🔥 E9x M3 bro !!
Very tasteful mods. looks great.
Amazing 😍 beautiful build
That intro tho. My god. Straight flames
Preciate it 🙏🏽
Such a clean m3
Such a clean build. This makes me miss my ess e92 m3.
The e92 is such a beautiful design. Great sound. Wish there was more supercharger whine..
Get the Harrop supercharger… definitely worth it .. transforms the car with no issues 👍🏻😊
the power this chassis deserves
Beautiful build
Glad you like it

Sounds great 👍
Abs auto body is legit
This video was made by your laugh everytime you filmed a roller 😂😂😂 and by “It’s Supercharged!!” 🤣 🤣 🤣
🔥 build
So with him when he said the new ones look 👀 like from 2035 and this one looks period still tho 😂🙌🏻🫡

Great video! What’s the brake pad brand he has on?
Oreilys auto parts ceramic brake pads for a Porsche cayenne
I dont see any plumbing from the front mount intercooler to plenum.
Can the stock DCT handle that much power reliably?
What a cool guy 😎
you know you’re in the south hearing those loud ass cicadas the whole intro to the vid lmaoo
I didn’t realize how bad they were until I got into editing 😂😂
Would love to see your m3 with an ESS blower 😳
The E92 M3 is a classic and would be kind of a shame to change the exhaust note.
That care is fun for cruising and doing pulls. I wouldn’t change it.
Perfection
Dam that interior
By any chance you know if he is running spacers on the rear?
10mm
@@ZakPomeroy Thx bro
@ZakPomeroy how about the fronts?
@18:41 did he really say "ahh its a v6"
I do believe he did lol

Was the trans changed upgraded to handle the torque?
It has the GTS trans tune
Bro I need another one 😢😢😢
Exhaust setup?
At the end of the day, it is all about this!!! You and What's your Forte are forcing me to buy a BMW!!!
What blow off valve is that?
135i + s65 + supercharged

How do you think Zak’s car rode compared to yours?
Man his car felt amazing. I really envy the dct tbh
I’m trying to decide if ohlins r&t are worth the price over Fortune Autos
Time to twin turbo the shit out this engine!!!
Name song intro?
Please don't do it, in some years your E92 can be sold for a lot of money, there is just not high rev V8 with manual anymore
Still gonna be a high revving manual V8. And the charger can be taken off at any time. It’s just a bolt on kit, no internals changed
Guarantee you the owner used to be a VW/audi guy
says wont get any parts for the engine and buys a new engine lmao
Wat
You Gonna let me get my 3. E92 m3 bro stop putting out this videos
I’m definitely getting one after this 🥲
Gonna break
Look another e90 with volks 🙄
Please stop making these videos. I swear I would never get a supercharger for my e92 m3 and you have warped my mind. Thanks a lot.
More to come! 😂

put the money into a 4.4 stroker instead, these motors are the best na 🙌
