FYI the ring you got early in the episode is one of those where you have to choose 4 of the bonuses which you can change each rest. I know it won't happen but it would be nice if Owlcat went back and added some of the updates they made in WotR, like search in the inventory etc.

Oh did I forget to enable the bonuses from the ring of circumstances? It wouldn't be the first time :p
I would also love to have some of the WotR quality of life features be brought over to kingmaker but if I remember correctly owlcat lost the rights to kingmaker so it would not gain any royalties from it and could no longer update the game. (Corporate stuff that I'm not very familiar with tbh)

    Cordem,
Hopefully you will recognise me, this is AM from Kolkata, INDIA.
As Kingmaker is different from DOS 1 & 2 and POE 1 and 2 I am playing this in Easy Mode to learn the game mechanics. Kingdom Management - got bored and switched from Normal to Auto. Playing in Real Time and from your very first video using two tanks, Bard, Wizard and Sorcerer as main characters. If not an exact recommendation from you, overall following your build.
Now I am in the Varnhold matter.
All is going well, however I have two questions. If possible, please answer.
Question 1 : A few days back while I was on the game map and tried to enter a certain place, game pop up that this mission needs Jubilost. Then a two column based table appears, one with the current companions and another those are in my city. I previously built a Cleric character, so I swapped that Lady Cleric with Jubi. Again the game said that it will take extra time so that Jubi can join the team. This happened when I had the complete six companion team. Now, after completing the mission I thought that my Lady Cleric would be anywhere in my town, tavern or main square or maybe inside the Thorn Room. However, that character vanished completely, not even in the trading post, just nowhere. Any comments from your side? Game Bug?!
Question 2 : I want to purchase a health potion, etc etc, however stocks completely exhausted from traders. Even the Skeleton Trader, Oleg, the village trader nobody supplied different scrolls, potions. Any suggestions?
UPDATE : After becoming the saviour of Varnhold procuring Scrolls and Potions problem somewhat solved.
Lastly, so many Scrolls. Confused when to use what. I actually mean, every time I have to mouse over every scroll to read what its function is, then based on the enemy I guess these scrolls are needed for preparation. However, while you are playing it reflects A Master is Playing!

      Hey :D
      So, as to your questions:
      1. I don't believe she will show up in your barony as she is a mercenary. These will only be available for you to choose from when you are leaving your barony or you click on the party management button in the game map while travelling.
      2. If you exhaust all the inventory not sure if you can make them restock, never actually had this become an issue for me so never investigated it. In your barony though you should have several clerics that will sell scrolls of healing, like for example jhod kavken (he's near tristian in your barony).
      3. As for the scrolls, you will pick up tons of scrolls during the course of the game. I pretty much only use a couple of them in certain situations and for the most part ignore the rest. You can use them for whatever you want though, no need to save them for specific future encounters. Have a fireball scroll and there's a bunch of enemies around? Blast them.
Have a scroll of death ward and expect to face undead? Protect with it, etc.
      Hope that helps!

@@CoredumpedGaming Yesterday I somewhat played like you. Before clashing with the Big Tree (name not remembered) I studied in detail about that creature in inspection mode. Then, without fighting use Alchemic Fire and Volcanic Storm and voila, it's done in a fraction of a second. Same for the great lion type animal who is resistant to fire. Again, done it with acid potions and acid arrow and acid magic.
Thank you. This game is a lot different from DOS and POE. Here, before any fighting thoroughly you have to think about the Pre-Fight situation, then prepare, then attack. And in some cases you also need to manage your party's health after the Post Fight situation.
Now I understand why worldwide people do not like Pathfinder as their fav CRPG since one needs to analyse a lot, brute force is often of no use.
Regarding that vanished lady your assumption is right. Followings your suggestion I created that character at Olegs Trading post before dealing with the Lord. It took 3000 coins to create that Cleric Lady with blonde hair. Alas, she is vanished.
However, in my tavern again I can recreate her though this time I am sure it will cost more than 50000 coins!

Proper analysis and preparation for the fights is indeed crucial to be successful in these games, even more so in pathfinder as you noted.
I think the main reason why some people dislike these pathfinder games is because they are quite ruthless towards the player. A lot of very nasty and permanent effects can be applied to your party which can be very annoying to deal with and at a certain point generate a lot of frustration. I feel other games are more lenient in this sense in a way that provides a challenge but is not as punishing. The complexity of the game system can also be a very big upside for people who enjoy getting into the details of the game and doing builds but also a big turn off for people who just want to play the game for the story.

You really need to sell a crapton of stuff. Isn't in annoying to have so much useless stuff in your inventory? Meanwhile, you've reached level 19, yay. Maybe, just maybe you'll get to level 20 before the game is over.

I will never disagree with selling stuff lol I'm just lazy and as long as I'm not getting overburdened, I typically don't think too much about it, silly I'm fully aware :p
I don't even remember at this point if I've ever reached level 20 in this game, if I did it was some time back for sure. I don't expect to achieve it, but we'll see how it goes.
