I've had one for two years now and I love it. Most of the hours are cutting grass, but I've moved a lot of dirt with it and pulled up a lot of boxwood bushes we didn't want anymore. Don't get old without one.
I haven't looked at sub compact tractors in years, and watching your display on the 1880 it sure is an impressive tractor. It's a tractor with a lot of great featurea for it's size, plus great options. 👍
Just gpt approved for one picking it up the end of next week ... I cant wait 0 down and zero interest for 60 months .. Wicked good deal.. I am very excited lol :)
i have a bx2350. i clean the deck after mowing and clean the screen after every mowing. never a problem. i drive my tractor up on ramps and hose all of the grass out from under the deck. should make my deck last forever.
Looking at a used bx1880. To just use around the house .I think it could work for me. But What would be the next size up from it??? Thanks you did good job here in video on the bx1880
I have a brand new 2020 BX 1880 with only 9 hours and I love it but the quick attach has a small leak of fluid that runs down onto the floor mats and it leaves a couple drip spots on the garage floor while sitting. Any suggestions before I go back to my dealer. I would love a quick fix verses having the tractor in the shop for 2 weeks. Thanks
@@olchat2012 You didn't say what size tractor you were looking at for $14000 or what year it was. I paid about $14000 for my brand new 2020 Kubota BX 1880.
Can you make a loader showing how to lower the ROPS so I can fit in my garage. Someone said that I only pull the pin out half way but it appears it must come out all the way?
I just got delivery of mine, I’m trying to get it in the garage and out of the elements. But the roll bar won’t fold down it moves about an inch and stops. I tried using my body weight, loosening the bolts, everything. It won’t fold, so it’s sitting out in the rain while I try to figure it out. My next option would be to remove the top part completely.
I really like these new Bx80 series. Kubota really stepped up their in the sub compacts with them. I’m debating getting rid of my commercial zero turn and getting the 1880 or 2380. I know Kubota doesn’t offer the R4 tires on the 1880 but can they not be put on it??? I’m really torn. But I could surely use a nice sub compact on my 6 acres 50/50 wooded/grass. I know I’d miss my zero turn but my back would thank me a 100 times over. Another option is to just keep the ztr and get the 1880 with loader only but it’d have to have R4 tires.
they are all nice but the BX2380 is just evolutionary not revolutionary. i have a BX2350, its a 2007. same engine as the newest BX2380, same transmission setup. mechanically very similar only improvements in fit and finish and they made it overall a nicer machine to operate. i love my BX2350 i would suggest looking at used machines as well. i just bought my BX2350 in may, i got a low time tractor (395 hours), a heated cab, nice condition 54" mower, and a rear mount 46" snowblower..... i paid $8k, to set that up new its like $25K. i am not disappointed, and at some point i might add a loader and a PTO generator to power my house during power outages.
Lots of extraneous BS in the presentation. John Deere brought the easy on off loader to the market in 1986. It was an industry first. Other innovations Kubota copied for this size of compact that Deere brought to the market was live independent PTO. Power steering, Two pedal hydrostatic foot control. Now JD has the easy on off mower deck available. As far as mower decks Deere has millions of their decks mowing grass from all corners of North America and around the world. The JD compacts were the first North American compacts built here since Ford discontinued the 9N series. They were built in Horicon, Wisconsin. That’s where the innovations came from. In the 1990s the product line was transferred to the JD factory in Augusta, Georgia where they are built today. I’ll take JD green any day over Kubota orange and twice on Sunday !

Looking for the capability of it as well. Glad you mentioned some of the implements you can use.

I'm about to buy a used one with a front bucket, gannon and about 300hrs on the clock. Not sure if 14k is a good price...

Wow impressive features.
Tell you what kubota has the system to remove the loader that's really nifty
Great smooth review!
Hey, about that screen that you pulled out and suggested we check. If its dirty or clogged up, whats the best method for cleaning it?

Very nice. I need one of these.
Well done review...!
Whats causing the whining when starting this? I am getting one soon and was just curious.

@@ad356 damn...8k..thats a steal
@@ad356 You stole it. Around here people are asking 10% less than a brand new unit for a unit with 1800 hours on it.
Will this tractor run a tiller attachment and if so what size do you recommend? Thank you
Yeah this tractor will run a tiller, I would recomend the Land Pride RTA1242 42" wide tiller.
Tiers and rims are probably made by titan wheel
Can you attach a backhoe to it ?
I think 2680 is the smallest model to accept backhoe.
Who makes those tires?
How much is that?
Does this tractor have a trailer hitch pull with
Heck everythings made by kubota EXCEPT THE TIRES
Will it handle backhoe?
Looks like from their website you have to get the 23S for a backhoe. 2380, 2680 also doesn’t show as an option.
Whats the smallest mower deck size you can get for this? Would like this or a gr2120
on the 1880 you can put a 48" or a 54" Where are you located?
Can it have a backhoe?
The BX2380 can have a backhoe on them
Price??
$26,000 to 30,000 Start out price
do they have to be registered
no they do not
@@whatcomderbyclub3508 ok
Would it be powerful enough for a small brush chopper?
yes we recommend a RCR1242 on this model that is 42" wide.
BX2380 is powerful enough for a brush chopper
Who would put ag tires on that tractor?
depends upon what you are doing with the tractor. my BX2350 has turfs, that's what came on it.... i bought it used.
I have AG tires on my bx1880.
I did, I use it for food plots that are hard to get to.
I would since this would basically be taking care of my garden.
