The Dark Aether is a place full of misery and betrayal, but they do have dogs there, so it can't be all bad! Yes, wonderful Hellhounds running around... mostly vicious, mostly craving your flesh, but... there are some that you can befriend (brain rot) and some you can make into mans best friend, even after death!
Since the introduction of the Dog Bone in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, Hell hounds were a powerful and loyal ally that you could have. They will fight at your side, revive you when needed, and even die for you! Or at least return to the Dark Aether. That's what I like to think happened to Chubbs anyway.
I was trying to do the Tombstone Glitch and I was scared, Chubba! I didn't know what to do, I thought I had to let you go, I thought you had to die, Chubba! It was so cold hearted of me to watch you get sucked by a Disciple like that, though, and if you're still out there somewhere roaming the Aether, I just want you to know that I'm sorry! Love you
