Please notice how many people are travelling and how successful the DART system is. Also, when one looks at the streetcars (trams) they too are very heavily travelled. Well done Dublin! Getting people to use public transportation has been very successful and I'm sure has eased road traffic. Bringing transportation systems to the people is the way to go.

Constructing much of the rail line tight to the coast was a woeful choice .
That thing is horrendously slow... would it have been so difficult to build a middle track at DART stations for express trains?
