Hey r&r coasting thanks for posting this dude 😎 😂 I was hoping to check out the fight lol seems completely valid to me I would be pissed off too after driving 13 hours there. I don't blame the guy 👍🏻
I stayed at that bench outside and heard this go down live. I do understand where that guy was coming from and why he was upset, but he could have handled it privately and maybe gotten better compensation. However he did provide the one highlight of the Q and A for the rest of us!
It seems that Cedar Point needs to visit other events, like Holiwood Nights, Six Flags Fiesta Texas Roller Coaster Rodeo and, from what I hear, Coasterstock at Kings Island and be more like those.
Adult throwing a tantrum like an entiteled kid. These are the people that make me hate the coaster enthusiast community. A negative minority overshadow the positive and super nice majority of the community.
The entitlement is disgusting. Yes, it sucks that TT2 is non functional. I had planned for the past year to do CP when I saw the revamped Top Thrill. Flying across the country to do said park and of course TT2 goes down. Does it suck? Yes. Am I still going to have a great time? Absolutely! Am I going to lash out on Cedar Point staff because I didn't get my way? No. Too old to be acting like that.
@@123JoshV yea but there's a way of not acting like a spoiled 8 year old. Problem with society today, they feel that just because they paid, they can act a fool in front of everyone and become a wild animal instead of civilized human.
I remember when coastermania was an enthusiast only event. No self respecting club member would’ve acted this petulant and spoiled, and even if he did, any reputable club would have revoked his membership on the spot.
Yeah, there was so much going on, if any one thing had to be cancelled (which NONE of it was) it would have still been an absolutely loaded event. And oh yeah, they gave you VIP access to all the rides (basically unlimited Flash with no return times) all three days on top of all of the awesome nerdy stuff throughout the event. That's what you get when you have an event run by actual ENTHUSIASTS.
Caught a quick glimpse of him and I gotta ask.... Does the guy yelling have a huge gap between his two front teeth? Pretty sure I've seen that guy around a few times this summer, he's a tool
Yep. Sitting with the couple who walked out. We enjoyed talking to them at dinner. Of course fb torched me and said people who act like that can’t possibly be nice, but they were 🤷🏻♀️ They had several other issues with the park and Tony up to that point. I think it was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Not justifying that behavior, js
Yes, the attendees were entitled and had completely unrealistic expectations, I get that -- but Tony Clark has no business in PR. "What are you cheering for exactly?" They're your customers, you have to find a way to brush that stuff off and move forward. If you can't handle heckling or negativity, why wouldn't you cherrypick your questions like a typical PR rep? Why be ambitious enough to bring out the rude the questions in the first place?
Agree 100%. He’s putting on a master class in what not to do when receiving negative feedback. I have no idea of the full situation but to me it looks like if he apologized and said come talk to me after, it probably would have been fine. Instead he completely dumped on the customer in front of a crowd and told them not to come, and unsurprisingly it escalated immediately afterward.
This event sucks every single year! And if Cedar Point isn't willing to put the effort and time into making this event a substantial, exciting and successful coaster enthusiast event then they really should just stop doing it! To me it shows nothing but the reality that Cedar Point cares about nothing other than getting every penny from us that they can and giving us the least in return! I just came back from Roller Coaster Rodeo at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, now that is a COASTER EVENT! three-days that cost $99 with 3 Days full of VIP ride access free drinks free food ERT, The Park closed down to the public at certain times, private use of the waterpark, amazing shows,.haunted houses, amazing fireworks display etc... it makes Cedar Point & coaster mania look like a carnival in the ghetto. Cedar Point is my home park, but along with Tony Clark it's becoming a complete embarrassment 💯 do I think it's okay that this imbecile was yelling at Tony this way no not at all there's the way to handle things as an adult but his frustration is just!
I completely agree. This was our first Coastermania and even we knew that it was mostly disappointing. We all are in agreement, however, that this guy just did not take the right approach. If he would have talked to Tony - like Tony said he would - he probably would’ve gotten an alternative free thing instead of the fast lanes we all got.
I hate that word, "thoosie". And I would never act out like that; my mother taught me to be respectful. I'm 65 years old and have been an enthusiast all of my life. I grew up riding coasters. I've been a card carrying member since 1990. But at events like this, you have to take the good with the bad. If the waters were choppy, then what choice did they have? TT2 went down.....OMG what a suprise! TT1 was always down. That guy might have been a thoosie, but he was a spoiled brat throwing a tantrum.

Looks like a fun event!! 😳🎉
I was there in person but didn’t even think about recording. Thank god someone recorded and uploaded this haha
I was recording the whole thing for our page just in case they announced something - lol

“Entitlement?” Brother they’re paying customers.

FIGHT OF THE BALDIES! What hair loss will do to a person LOL

This needs to be posted on Reddit lol
Geez people get passionate! 😭😭😭
More than you know lol
Man we left after dinner! Too bad we missed this!
Good thing I went to Roller Coaster Rodeo instead 😁
Heard it was good. May have to go next year :)

Same here and Holiwood Nights... No one needed to complain at those events... Lol
...off to the huff mobile
CP does do us dirty tho. He’s right
Nobody was arguing that it sucked about what he was saying - it was more the approach…
Caught a quick glimpse of him and I gotta ask.... Does the guy yelling have a huge gap between his two front teeth? Pretty sure I've seen that guy around a few times this summer, he's a tool
He said that he drove 13 hrs to get there sooooooo I doubt it was the same guy
@@huddyr1112 yeah you're probably right. He probably bought that season fast lane so he had it for his sole visit.
Not sure & you maybe right about seeing him a few times because other people have said he’s caused other issues in the park. Idk if that’s true though
Tony....
.
"So I'll address the shirts also"
Right - that’s why I kept that part in when I edited this lol
😂😂😂

He did say come and talk to me after. The customer didn’t want to hear it.
That’s when you repeat and say let’s talk afterwards. Never tell your guest not to come. In. Front. Of. A. Live. Audience.

Coastermania is pathetic compared to Rodeo.
Orion
Tony Clark should just cancel the event at this point, no point in catering to entitled thoosies
Hey I'm a non thoosie who enjoys Coastermania lol
We are not thoosies either - actually a lot of people we know attended are not.
