- 15 Stunning Three Colored Pencil Combinations. There is a high probability that you will create mud if you blend 3 colored pencils together. There are safe colors and there are colors that will alter the look that you are going for. Those combinations mixed together will create mud. I have created 15 three colored pencil combinations that are safe to use and will give you clean results.

@@ColorMyWorld Embroidery is like visual meditation right? Besides, if the Netflix movie is awful I still have a beautiful something I worked on and so didn't waste my time. Lot to be said for making something beautiful. If only we artists didn't battle carpal tunnel. Jeez.

Thank you 😊 for another wonderful Tutorial! The three Color blending combinations are just stunning. I have just barely started to Paper Craft again and I am struggling with the Color Blending. It does not matter if it is Coloring Pencils, copic’s, inktense, dye or distress inks. I know the color wheel and use it everyday when I sew.

This is great to help with color combos. I truly wish you would have not sped up the actual blending of the colors. The way you put the colors down on the paper are significant in the way they blend. Even knowing basic color theory doesn’t explain the technique used to blend with the pencils. Overall, a great video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. It is so much appreciated.
In the settings for the video there is an option to slow down the video, that is what I did and it made it much more clear how the colors are applied and blended. Hope that helps.
Hello, No hurry, but I purchased the download for the black and white version of your color blending system yesterday (and am very happy with it!) and didn't see a template that would work for this tutorial. Is there one, or should I make my own? Thanks ever so much!!

Re: CMW blending system. I didn’t realize this was released a year ago. Have you reviewed all the prisma and poly colors? I started searching on the RUclips channel but could only find a few colors. Love the videos I did find. Will download the PDFs soon.

Is there a video that gives examples of which specific primary (prisma) blended with which secondary (prisma) gives a tertiary?
That's a hard question to answer because there are literally hundreds of thousands of combinations. Most of the colors in the Prisma set are tertiary . Are you new to color blending? I teach using undertones to get the right color. Do you have a color wheel? Are you taking my color blending class?
I, too, use Polychromos pencils and would appreciate the equivalents being named if it is possible please. I am just getting into blending and shading and have no knowledge of how to use and make colours other than the three basics.

I really learn alot from you, I'm a beginner, but the thing is 'm using polychromos and I can't find the color resemble you use in "prisma"... Would you consider mentioning your colors in polychromos also!? Thx for all your help 🌹
Hey. I follow Color With Claire. She has a conversion chart from prismas to polychromos. She is on RUclips as well as Facebook and Instagram. Or you can search her blog and print out the chart. It's free
