@@honeysuckleband This has almost a bluegrass feel to it. Have you thought of adding a banjo and train whistle (near the end instrumental) and tweaking it more in that direction? That would be soooo cool. Great job!
I just came across this randomly a few days ago. Great job on the cover. A bit bluegrass-y almost. I posted this to the official Who forum and Richard Evans, the forum administrator and designer of official Who stuff for years, commented "Nice version of the coda!" Not sure if he will pass it on to Roger and Pete, but you have at least reached the attention of The Who's inner circle
Noo! I can't call this as "teenage wasteland" the way she said exodus is here touched my heart and maaaan what a cool mandolin solo.....! Keep up! lots and lots of love and admiration from. ❤🇮🇳 ❤
As someone who back in the sixties used to go to nearly all their London Gigs and has got all their early-ish music I don't take kindly to other bands who massacre their music , but this was absolutely fricking FANTASTIC if I was a record producer I would sign you up toot sweet please stay true to the original sounds and keep up the good music I must search for more
Funny... last night I was listening to various recordings of this by the real mccoy, and tonight your cover pops up. Color me impressed!! Great job guys and gal... very unique, and very very well done! Thanks for sharing your wonderful talents!
The Who were my favourite band, I was luckily enough to see them live a few times.( Before Keith died) This is a fine cover, well done and thanks. ( how about doing Join together?)
That was one of the finest cover versions of Baba O'Riley I've ever heard/seen. The Who are difficult to cover, because of their very unique energy and spirit, but you delivered that and captured the melancholy and hope that song provides incredibly well. Very well done 🙂
Fantastic! I did this song in the rock band I was in in 1973 in Liverpool. It's great to see you youngsters getting off on a song of my generation. Restores the faith of this old codger in the future of music. Well done!
@@honeysuckleband, you two should try “Battle of Evermore “. I think it would fit perfectly with your voice! Also, a video of your history, where you’re from, goals, where you can be seen etc. We want to know more.
I watched not expecting to like this to be honest with you. BUT, I enjoyed every second of it, fully entertained the entire time. Y'all have put a lot of work into it and it shows but just as importantly, the music comes from deep inside you and that shows as well. Had to sub.
Well done...!! I was dubious... but you did an excellent job. It's a great song and as someone has already commented it's great you're interested in this classic stuff. Pete will be pleased I think.
That’s truly an honor! Thank you. Pete has been one of my favorite writers and guitarists since I was 12. We had a lot of fun with this one and it’s great that folks are enjoying it :)
@@honeysuckleband Last night I got my wife to listen to your 'Baba' video. She is a 'forced' Who fan... She has no choice as either Pete or the band are playing every day in the office or car and she complains about it - why are they so angry? And comments like that.. She said at the end of your video - 'they are incredible. I'm so envious of their talent'. One of my sister's boyfriends got me into The Who when I was around 15, that was more than 40 years ago. I play guitar but nothing like you guys. That's not modesty.. If you're ever in North Italy be sure to come by for pizza and a gig in the garden. My son is a drummer and we have a lot of friends that play all kinds of things and all love 70s Rock. Richard
Ladies and gents this is the most adorable cover of this amazing song. Props to both of you and the afro clones lol that bluegrass or square dance ending was amazing. Encore Encore
I've heard lots of covers of this number, most very good. However, you absolutely smashed it. You are the only band I've heard to not only attempt the ending, but I actually thought it was better than the original. Brilliant!!!!
How on earth do you guys only have 2k subs?! Raw musical talent and smooth beautiful vocals. I found you just today from your demon host cover but I am captivated by how you both perform and it all feels like a giant warm hug.
Most Wonderful !!!! I heard this song on the radio when the album was released, lo these many years ago. I am 69 years old now and can get just as Who frenzied with what I heard here. Thank you so much. And kudos to the band also. ♥
Baba O´Riley ist einer meiner Lieblingssongs überhaupt. Dieses ist eine wirklich sehr schöne Version: die Zusammenstellung der Instrumente und vor allem die schöne volle Stimme der Frau/des Mädchens. Respekt!!
As an OLD fan of The Who, I thoroughly applaud you all! I saw The Who play this live in person in 1971 when they were on their Who's Next tour when this was a new song. :)

Wahouh !
