    Making my own from bamboo which was free. It's hollow that the point, can put a torch, five pound plastic note we now have. Spike with tip and rubber sheath for water protection. You get the satisfaction having done it your self as well.

    Why is everyone ragging on this guy? He is just trying to promote his idea. Don't buy one if you don't want one. It is a nice concept. I'm not a player for it but so what? He is trying to make his idea come to life. How would you like everyone to trash your ideas. People really suck.

    I have used a hiking staff since the seventies, however I carry all my survival stuff in my pack, belt, pockets. I have multiple survival packs in various place on my person and in my gear, in case my stuff get separated from me. Now my staff does have a feature to make use of Buck's Kinetic Survival Spear Points, don't get me wrong, Dudes got his own approach, more power to him. Some guys like Fords, some Chevys, some S$W and some Glocks. What works for us is as different as each one of us.

    Too bad the audio and video aren't very good. BTW, a gentleman uploaded a video of how to build these about 4 years ago. Very easy to make and supply. It was made out of gray sch. 40 pvc. I think it cost me about 30 dollars for everything to make it. The little plastic tubes were the only things I had to order. They are for keeping various size coins in for coin collecting. Also there are 2 guys on here making them out of wood, I think one is retired military Col. makes and sells them.

    That's exactly like one I built, except mine has an internal missile launcher with a bazillion round capacity. Also if used when wearing dorky Elton John round glasses it becomes a magic stick in which I become leader of Hogwarts able to turn the entire Slithering into newts.
    Okay....but our sticks are very similar.

    Nice job. It's well thought out. I'm going to say that, I could fill that tube with supplies for a lot less than 150 bucks. I could probably do it for around 30 to 40 tops. I realize there was a lot of time and effort to label everything. The braiding of the paracord, etc. For the amount of work you've put in..I'd say you are probably asking a fair price. But I also think, this can be done for about 50 bucks, at home. If not less. It does have a good comprehensive inventory, and again, it's very well thought out. Nice video as well..I'll give you 3 stars out of five..best I can do.

      Mr. Wicked also I am a woman-we gunna need more than one over 72 hours “for obvious reasons” 🤣 BUT having said that, you’re right, way more of the applicator free ones can fit. At that point shouldn’t those be in the first aid tube? Anyhoo.. its a good concept but that ain’t 72 hours worth.

    if I was going to build my own Survival Staff, I would include a bang stick on one end of it. for those who are unfamiliar with a bang stick, it is a contact discharged, 12 gauge shotgun with practically no barrel, commonly used to deter sharks while scuba diving. I'm sure such a setup is perfectly illegal and would get you locked up for possessing or selling such an item. that's why I began my comment with if I were to make one at home. the beauty of the bank stick feature is its very easily disguised. since it's a scuba diving tool, it's already waterproof. of course you would want a fool-proof safety on that bad boy, LOL!

    • @blairtaylor9552
      @blairtaylor9552 3 года назад

      Exactly. Mine is a martial arts tapered Bo staff- 1" center, and tapers to 3/4" at the ends. It was expensive- hickory on both sides, with brazilian walnut (Ipe) sandwiched through the center. I find a good length is from the ground, to the tip of ones' nose. Mine is perfectly straight, and very stong construction- you can't get much stronger than hickory laminated with brazilian walnut. On the ends, I sanded down a little, put brass tubing on both ends, with 80 durometer polyurethane rubber tips coming out the ends- for grip and to absorb a little shock. Drilled through for solid stainless pins to hold the parts on. It's one-of-a-kind, and I should probably make my own video! No garbage integrated in- just the strongest/straightest walking staff in the world, with nice rubber tips on both ends. Tip parts (brass tubing/80 durometer polyurethane rubber rod/solid pins), were ordered from macmaster.com

    The Stick? A back pack is better. Not many people carry a pole with them. You can put a lot more in a pack than you can in a stick. Decent idea. Great applications but no. If you're going to carry a stick, carry a real war stick. Add tape if you want to.

    Fake video. You can tell if you watch his lips very very very closely. You will notice that the sound (which was most likely recorded media from a movie recorded through a phone), and using iMovie it was laid over the video. Not sure if person in video is an actor or CGI, but as you all know it’s hard to sync lip movement to voice, so with that said the person who created this video is pretty talented but obviously it is fake.

    The mirror won't work unless it comes out and not everyone has Facebook cause it sucks. But I like your product it's a great idea.

    I saw an interesting version on Instructables.com I believe it was. They use a 3 or 4 cell Maglite without the light part on it. The light part slid down over your stick. Then you have a sturdy case (the maglite itself with a screw on and waterproof cap so you can stash goodies inside.. Slap some paracord down from the maglite, add a pointy end maybe with a spear point under a rubber cover.. www.instructables.com/id/Survival-Walking-Stick/

    This is very cool. An idea before it’s time. I can see carbon fiber or aluminum. A water carbon straw would make more sense than pills.

    love the beads man you can count your number of hail marys or krsna mantras while the zombies come, the mantra will even keep the zombies at bay when chanted properly :)

    • @SaveUrSurvival
      @SaveUrSurvival  6 лет назад

      unfortunately, the zombie edition doesn't have prayer beads, that's just the shepards version for royal rangers. If you want I might be able to put some zombie guts on yours so everyone will think you're awesome. Zombies aren't scared of chanting just sarcastic social media comment, OOHHH your good! yay! ;)

    Well, I can promise I will never bug out without my bugout staff. I can also promise that I'll never going to bug out. Stupid consept.
    I use walkingstick to chop wood from trees, keep balance with a backpack on, to keep my sledgedogs behind me downhill, but I will never use a stick hollowed out on a trip, ful of stuff I can store in my pockets and backpack. I you need to bugout, its guys like me you are hiding from.

    I would throw away the tampons and the fishing hooks and stuff that thing full of weed that's what I need my survival stick

    • @gustavthemagician
      @gustavthemagician 5 лет назад

      That is what i did, kind of. I need a cane to walk anyway so i drilled a hole in the grip that holds two standard joints, one weed and one hash. The rubber foot holds a lighter and a plastic tube with 2 oz. of whisky. Prepared for everything.
