I think this guy should shave his head. He would look 10 years younger. The Stick? A back pack is better. Not many people carry a pole with them. You can put a lot more in a pack than you can in a stick. Decent idea. Great applications but no. If you're going to carry a stick, carry a real war stick. Add tape if you want to.

I'm not saying this isn't a good idea, or that it isn't cool... But this is blatantly made of PVC pressure pipe and you can tell that even BEFORE you take the cap off to expose the unpainted white interior that is very clearly plumbing PVC. Again, pretty good idea, but you can buy an actual survival staff, machined out of metal, such as the Crawford Survival Staff, for $200 - $300, so it's pretty disgusting that you would try to con people by charging them $150 for this blatant assortment of hardware store plumbing. Worse yet, you blatantly have your mates say of video that they would pay multiple hundreds of dollars for this plumbing assembly... Absolute disgusting lack of integrity, straight up con man shit here.

Hello, how much for the survival stick and how can I get 1?

Nice idea but at $250 I'll make do with a $5 wooden pole, and a $20 "fanny pack" with my own assorted survival accessories

So this idea is cool and all but is it gonna hold together if I have to bust some heads with it? The main reason I carry a five foot piece of solid hickory is for stability and defense.

when I factory in that is made out of a cheap PVC pipe . couple of fittings and a rubber boot on the . then how much you actually paid for all the materials inside of it as well the paracord & compass . NO MORE THEN $50.00 . Anything more than that . and you're just taking people for MONEY ! ripping them off .

That's exactly like one I built, except mine has an internal missile launcher with a bazillion round capacity. Also if used when wearing dorky Elton John round glasses it becomes a magic stick in which I become leader of Hogwarts able to turn the entire Slithering into newts. Okay....but our sticks are very similar.

It's an interesting concept... but it's fatal flaw is that a walking stick is only an extension of yourself. It's not part of you or on your person. Of all the gear you will be carrying in your pack, or on your person... a walking stick is the most likely thing you would loose 1st... which is why I carry my [emergency fire/med/snare/fish kits], torch, & knife on my person. The survival stick concept makes for good redundancy though.

Wish you had better audio and much better camera work. All the jerkyness makes it a bit hard to follow. About a version 2?

Your survival items should be on your person at all times, in case you lose your stick/stuff, so fundamentally not really a good idea.

This is very cool. An idea before it’s time. I can see carbon fiber or aluminum. A water carbon straw would make more sense than pills.
