10:45 to add onto this, I'd like them to include all of the patterns into one package that will cover all future vehicles and reskinnable things. Patterns are adding an unbelievable amount of bloat to the warbonds taking up over half the pages. If they did that they could add a lot more things into them. It feels like a way to cheap out and put less effort into them by fattening it up with the separate patterns, although I understand if they think all the extra effort wouldn't be worth what they'd get out of it monetization-wise.
Heads up: I've heard that the Peak Physique armour passive (100% increased melee damage, weapon handling increased) does not work with the Melee weapon's primary fire, you have to hit the dedicated melee button in order to get the benefit. After a brief test the baton feels so much better when wearing Peak Physique and using the melee button when compared to wearing any other set and using the primary fire so I think what I've heard is accurate. Hopefully this will be fixed at some point as I'm loving the Ballistic Shield+Melee combo against bots, being able to just walk up to Heavy Devs, blocking everything they throw at me just to hit them with The Stick™
It seems to be bugged sometimes, because I've tested the new Lance versus terminids And I was killing the bugs in the same amount of hits with my melee button and my regular fire button. I honestly think the melee weapons need to do more damage in general, because if you are in melee range then you are super vulnerable and you should have a weapon that can wipe out most enemies in one shot
I think the way the game is currently monetized is fine. It just comes down to whether you value saving your time or saving your money more. If prices stay stable to where they are now it’s not that hard to grind out the credits. But if you don’t have the time you most likely have a job and 10 bucks every 6 weeks is not that bad. Also I kind of like weapons popping up in the shop if they are priced like the baton. Say you wanted the sickle but nothing else from the warbond, you would have to spend 1k credits for a mid warbond just to acquire one weapon. If they sold weapons in the store and you really wanted it you would be saving your credits. And on top of all of this they still are giving out stratagems and vehicles for free.
@@darzinth yeah, most of primary guns are mediorce and the armor should work for support weaponds as well (read in armor description). Extra ammo and better reload speed is pretty nice to have though. I noticed MG-43 gets extra magazine from siege-ready and it probarly gets reload buff too.
Im in love with the directional shield... makes you waaaay tankier ... and can even tank a cannon round directly graba a crossbow and some thermites and u can go up to a tank and termite it to death
Another thing you can do with the new shield is right before it breaks you can put it away for it to charge faster then waiting for it to break. I hope they add a feature where you can turn the normal shield backpack on and off so it can charge faster as well.
I definitely agree with you on stratagems within warbonds. I would much prefer war bonds similar to democratic detonation, where you got three full armor sets, three weapons and a secondary. I'd much rather pay for a war bond that has weapons in it rather than taking weapons out of the war bond to put stratagems in
@@user-nl5re1th8p The amount of super credits you can farm per match, I wouldn’t call it microtransaction. There is the option to pay for it if you want to unlock it as soon as possible.

Please please please AH, do a light, med, and heavy armor

It's less than $10 since you get 300SC back from each warbond, so eventually you can buy one for free.
Don't forget they are releasing a non-warbond stratagem- the gas mines. We just have to earn them first
MG-43 reloads so fast
Does the new armor increase reload speed on MG-43🤔?
I know it should work for primary weaponds only, but it seems to be bugged.
@@ilovedemocracyy imo it should work for everything, only working for primaries makes it kind of bad

It works for every weapon
@@louiesatterwhite3885 cool, I haven’t had time to test with most support weaponds.

I hope they don't patch the armor passive and just let it work with support weapons too
My only gripe bout the shield is it only works while aiming and it counts as using a hand. I want to hold my MG and have my shield at the same time!
I play helldivers to drive ! Beep beep! Get in Ken! 💁🏻♀️ 💅🏻
Omg amazing !
I do wish they would add tons of free stuff instead of drip feeding stratagems.
Armor got released bugged, suprise suprise Arrowhead
Siiiiiiic
I don't play Helldivers to hit things. I play to shoot things. The desire for more melee weapons like swords is baffling.
So gross to sell us a reload speed buff.
Don’t think you can call it “sell” since the currency can be found in game.
Good thing you don't need it, or that you can farm for it if you want it.
