I was laughing because I am also 36 weeks pregnant and I posted my nursery tour this week too. I did the same thing you did towards the end of my video. I plopped down out of breath in the chair and wrapped things up. It takes a lot out of me to do anything these days. I'm glad it isn't just me!
A lot of babies detest the cold of the wipes and scream when you change them. A wipe warmer could save you about 10 headaches a day. Of course that depends on the baby, but I would recommend it!!! Much love ❤️
Very cute nursery. I say yes for diaper warmer, when my daughter was a baby she hated the cold wipes, so I definently used the warmer. Desitin is a must for diaper rash, works great and not as greasy as the aquaphor.
Thank you! I keep hearing conflicting things about the wipe warmer. Maybe I will see how he does without one and order one if it seems like he'd do better with having one. I'll look into the Desitin!
😍❤d. teared up a bit. My baby is no longer a baby, they grow so fast. He now sleeps in a complete toddler bed. We just put his crib away, which served to transition him. Great job momma, very nice and minimal. Can't wait to see Mr baby Brody.
Awwwwwh how sweet. I keep getting told how fast they grow up and it makes me sad. I'm for sure going to be cherishing every moment for that exact reason. I'm so excited for him to get here!
Thankyou so much for sharing , such a gorgeous nursery. I love the colors that you chose, everything ties in so well together. I also love that you showed what's in each drawer but I am nosy and love seeing that ha ha. As always , Love your videos !
I'm a new subscriber been watching your vlogs all morning, lol! The wipe warmer came in handy when he was a newborn. I stopped using it after 4 months. Apparently they hold in bacteria from always being moist, but I cleaned it down a lot and always went through the wipes quickly. I don't really think there is a need. I bought so much dang stuff and ended up not using half of it haha! I love the furniture I want that dresser for myself lol
I love his nursery! I overdid everything for my first baby so with baby number 2 I am going simple. I LOVED my diaper genie. I wasn't sure if I'd use it or not at first, but it came in so handy so you don't have to smell dirty diapers in the trash all the time ☺️
I suggest the Boppy or Munchkin changing pad covers. Brody will just lay on them, and they're white- so incase he poops or gets something on it, you just throw that in the laundry instead of having to change the whole cover :) They've been a lifesaver for us. Plus, you can just take the little covers around the house, and that's where we change too, if we're too lazy for the changing pad haha.
I was told to expect him to be about 8lbs at birth! I'd rather him have clothes that are a little to big that he can grow into than have ones that fit him perfectly that he'll only wear a few times :)
Rainbow Love going through all the comments again and it's so funny to read this comment! My son was born 8lbs exactly and grew out of all of his newborn clothes before he was 4 weeks old 😂 thank God I didn't buy preemie clothes because I would've completely wasted my money! Lol
Such a cute nursery! I love your color scheme and the wooden accents! I have a nursery tour of my son's room as well, would love for you to check it out!
My sister is currently pregnant with a baby boy. She was debating on getting the diaper warmer also. But as she thought more and more about it and decided to turn against it. Just because when you are out and about with the baby she will not have the warmer so she fears that the child is react negatively to not having it warm. So why have it just warm when you are home then change when you are out. The child will not like the change.
And a wipe warmer isn't necessary. The only nice thing about a wipe warmer are for those stubborn poops when they start solids and they stick to his privates
Say no to the diaper gene!!!!! I put mine in the garage. They smell.... no matter what once they start solids. I didn't use my wipe warmer. If you don't have actual swaddles like the swaddle me, those are handy.
You should leave a small, baby washcloth in your basket. Something to cover little man's little man if you're getting cream or something. Lol just in case.
I have some more newborn size that isn't shown, I just don't want to buy to much and have him grow out of them! Once I get a better idea of how big he is I'll stock up on more. I have amazon prime so I don't mind placing an order ;) lol

Girl you are so not the only one! I was completely out of breath after filming this video! Hahaha. We are getting so close!!

I love his nursery it is seriously the cutest!! Can't wait for your video when he's finally here!
Thank you! I can't wait either! :)
Love how you've organised the nursery...great ideas for me as I'm starting to plan my nursery set up too! All the best to you x
It has been my favorite part! Getting to do all the planning and decorating for it, so much fun! Good luck!! :)
I just subscribed! Brody has the cutest nursery!!! Congratulations☺.
Also, you are beautiful!
I love this nursery it's so beautiful can't way until baby Brody is here

You should put the picture of when you announced your pregnancy on that little board! Love your videos ❤
Great idea!! I'll get one printed!! Thank you!!! :)
Looks beautiful Lauren!!! Congratulations you did a wonderful job. I also love triple paste and I didn't use a warmer for the wipes
Thank you!

Forgot to add, wipe warmers are useless! Number one thing we regretted registering for.
I will look into those!!! Thanks! :)
Love his room!
Thanks so much! I was worried how it'd turn out being so tiny but I love it :)
Love this nursery! I hope to have something similar someday.
NURSERY GOALS!
:)))
Just a heads up that the newborn clothes will probably be too big! I highly recommend getting a couple premi outfits :)
I was told to expect him to be about 8lbs at birth! I'd rather him have clothes that are a little to big that he can grow into than have ones that fit him perfectly that he'll only wear a few times :)

I've thought about that too which is why I'm probably not getting one. Waste of space on the dresser and waste of money!
Please do a hospital bag video! Those are my favorite!
I am totally doing one!! I think I have about two or three more things to throw in there and then I'll be filming it! :)
What paint color is that ?! It's so beautiful 😍😭
Kenn Shae agreed! I'd like to know too :)
Kenn Shae I think she mentioned it in her house tour!
It's the color "Rocky Bluffs" by Valspar!! :)
And a wipe warmer isn't necessary. The only nice thing about a wipe warmer are for those stubborn poops when they start solids and they stick to his privates
Gotcha! Maybe I'll look into it down the road when he's a little older. Thank you!
I absolutely love it!!!
Beautiful nursery! You have great taste:)
i really love this nursery💓💓
Thank you :)
Lauren Self 💙💙💙💙
I have a diaper genie & i LOVE IT especially if you have more children. I had 3 kids in diapers at once & it was a life saver
9 months in and we're still using it!!
Omggggg CUTE!!!!
closet organizer! I love it but i can't find it online
wipe warmer dries them out
Does the mattress fit snugly ? If so what size is it ?
What baby monitor did you end up getting and liking?
Laney Emede the Lollipop Baby Monitor on Amazon!
Do you still like the crib?
Yes!
Say no to the diaper gene!!!!! I put mine in the garage. They smell.... no matter what once they start solids. I didn't use my wipe warmer. If you don't have actual swaddles like the swaddle me, those are handy.
Gah! It was a git from a family member so I'll probably keep it and just not use it much. I'll look into the swaddle me's!
what color is the rug!?
Tan!
You should leave a small, baby washcloth in your basket. Something to cover little man's little man if you're getting cream or something. Lol just in case.
Lol!!!! That's a perfect idea! I will throw a couple in there!
honestly thats probably only 2-3 weeks of diapers, they can go through about 10 a day in the beginning
