To me this feels more badass and serious and the Kiwami version is more rage filled and it sounds more like an intro than a boss theme

I don't care what other people say, but this track is KICKASS, end of story.

This has more of a movie vibe while Kiwami has more of a video game vibe. I like them both, but in the case of this fight, I prefer Kiwami's because it really sounds like Kiryu is fucking pissed off.
