Thank you so much! Tammy life is a roller coaster. I cant really remember my mood or what was going on at the time. Thank you for being in tuned to some of my ups and downs. It's nice to give real life and not a false sense of happy. I appreciate you.
This is beautiful. I just started doing wood grain tumblers. I love your technique - it’s so much better then mine. Thanks for your patience with a beginner like myself.
You’re cups are beautiful!! Hands down the BEST explanation of how to do wood grain!! I will be watching your videos from now on. I’ve got a couple Quick questions: how much would you charge for a 20oz wood grain SS tumbler? (I’ll understand if you don’t wanna say) Do you spray paint the glasses? Or brush on acrylic? I found it a pain to spray paint a wine glass without drips! Any tips?? I bought a couple boxes of wine glasses for really cheap...I am using them to practice different techniques. I love it when we teach each other tips and tricks! My addiction is learning on RUclips...I can’t ever get enough!!! LOL!! And I’m sure that I’m not the only one! At least I hope not! 🤔 😉
Casey thank you!! I don’t mind answering your questions. Anyone can go to Etsy, so I have nothing to hide. My 20oz Wood grains sell for $30 unless it is a yeti ($75). I do spray paint glasses. You will need to let it completely dry after each step. You can also use acrylic but again let it dry. It is a pain!! I use light coats and make sure I don’t spray to close. If there are a few drips I don’t let it wreck my day and I make sure the drip becomes one of the knots. I’m addicted to learning from RUclips and wherever else I can get knowledge as well. I love when I can see how others approach something and then make it my own. Let’s keep learning together. Enjoy your day my friend!!!
Sometimes I do a clear coat, which I would recommend. Sometimes if the tumbler has been sitting awhile I just put the epoxy on. Thank you so much for watching!!!
Question, I'm getting real close using your methods. BUT when I do a 1st light coat, then put decal on and then do the 2nd darker coat. When I pull the decal off to show the under coat it's peeling the 1st and paint primer off showing the steel? Why? Should I let the cup sit for a long time first? Thank you for any help
@@ProcrasCreationDIY the peekaboo style I guess it's called the decal is only as a stencil. So it's a lighter wood under the darker top layer. Research sounds like I need to epoxy the first light wood grain first then the stencil then the dark top layer then pull it off
Love your technique! Your knots look amazing....cannot wait to practice. You have inspired me lady 😁☺️ thank you so much for posting this tutorial.

Where did you find you 91 percent alcohol from
Very hard to find since the pandemic. I have been able to find some 70% alcohol at local beauty supply stores
Hi Where Do You Get Your Alcohol That You Dip Your Brush Into ? . 8 )
Walmart, CVS
Do you put clear coat afterwards then put epoxy
Sometimes I do sometimes I don’t, but beat practice is to do so.
ProcrasCreationDIY what if it turns a light green
does the latte have a green tint if not sealed?
I don’t believe so, if you’ve watched my other videos you may see a green tint because I did a green tumbler and did not clean my brushes good.
@@ProcrasCreationDIY ok thank you. I have done wood grain with a chip brush, looks like I will give this a try!!
How do you clean your brushes?
Hello. I clean them with the alcohol and paper towels
do you put anything on your cups before you use the epoxy? I love your videos!

Not sure I quite understand but I would not put a decal on until after all your coats are on and you have sealed your cup

do you seal your cups before epoxy?
If I let it sit for 24 hours I find that it doesn’t necessarily need to be sealed. But sealing is always wise.
