Thank you Sir! I have a problem with the pump, building water pressure. At first, I was thinking to go ahead and order the pump. After watching your video, I have realized that it maybe be possible to fix the pump instead. The video is very well done. Every little detail explained. I am very pleased. God bless you!

Thankyou great video, sorry to high jack the thread... But what does a routine service for this unit look like, the 2-yrs one as I don't have a service centre near me and would like to tackle it myself (PL62s)? Thank you all the best and a happy New Year!

Hi!, please send at care@lelit.com the serial number photo of your machine,
Is the machine now working properly?

Routine service if you keep it clean and use a water softener and don't live in an extremely hard water area should be nada no? Perhaps a group lube and service kit every five years for a domestic machine? Boiler descale I imagine in this scenario not within ten years? 🤔

      maintenance depends on several factors
      what water is introduced
how many hours the coffee machine has been working.
how many coffees the machine has made
how much water and/or steam has been dispensed.
once you understand the condition of the machine there are 2 approaches,
we change as much as we can, so we avoid any future problems,
or we change only what is necessary

Set it to 9 bar! 😎

This is a vibration pump. You can not adjust the "pressure" on a vib pump, only can do that for rotary pumps. Cheers :)

      @@fredwilson1191
There is OPV on the machine after the pump for that reason. But anyway 1 bar gets lost on te way from the opv to the group head. So when youbset the opv to 9 bar (as shown on that video) the extraction happens on 8 bar by maximum.

    • @fredwilson1191
      @fredwilson1191 2 года назад

I understand fully in regards the the OPV, however the context of the statement of @ironmqn tooltime, seems to be asking to set the pump, as there is no mention of anything except the pump in his or previous comments to indicate that he may have been suggesting to set the OPV.

@@fredwilson1191 obvs Fred I don't mean to set the pressure to 9 bar via the vibe pump, Fred. I mean do it while he's there 😉

@@morningcoffee1 interesting. So setting the pressure to 9 on the dial I'm getting 8 at the shot? Does it say that in his OPV video? I am getting much reduced (zero) channeling now. I'd be surprised if that required as low as 8 bar and 9 at the shot was doing that.
