I do agree w you about everything you said. But just to clarify something... yes, brakes are very easy, on most vehicles. And yes, it's easy to screw up too. But before you panic everyone watching this, 95% of the screw ups, do not make it unsafe, or cause you to not be able to stop. Most likely, you'll have noises, squeaks, and stuff like what you have there. I've seen calipers installed on the wrong side, but the vehicles were not returned to service, because they never got the pedal firm enough. Brake pad in backwards came into my shop. Still able to safely stop, but the noise was horrendous. Forgotten bolts in caliper or bracket, or holding wheel on are different. But people that let that happen, have absolutely no business doing brakes. Just my opinion. Great video btw.
In the 90' s 1 was working at a school bus company in the garage. We went out drinking on two dollar Tuesday and just got 💩 faced. Wednesday morning Brian puts the the brake pads in the calipers backwards for christ sakes. The bus goes out in the afternoon and she on the radio " my brakes are just squealing " ! Darcy and I are in the service bus and figure this out. We tried but they found out !! No when to say when kids .
Do rotors on a 2006 Chevy Colorado. Have fun removing the bearing assembly. Also, everyone needs to just say driver side or passenger side. Theres no need to make things about perspective.
This is the main reason I do all my vehicle repairs/maintenance.
Why pay someone to screw it up ? I can do that for free
@mr.anderson9938 👏🏽🤣 right.
Good call out and informative point!! 👏👍
Thx for info. Air directional. For proper cooling of rotors. Otherwise. I'd have to keep a fire extinguisher by front windows.❤️🔥

I think the problem is perspective. Some ppl think right and left is from the view point of in front of the car vs in the drivers seat.
Nah thats stupid, right hand drive means what it means there's no misunderstanding unless you have room temp iq
Most people don't know that left and right is determined while sitting inside facing the front of the vehicle.
I believe you my be right.
I do one side at a time. Avoiding this.
I don't comment any more. I've never had one issue in 71 years doing my own, plus rear calipers
R&L is when you're sitting in the car, or on the motorcycle
Oil changes are much easier, and mechanics have even SCREWED THAT UP by GROSSLY OVERFILLING my car midway up the dipstick.
DJ I hate this 💩 so much is it that hard to do it right? Owner just spent a couple years or more with shit breaking because of the previous fk knuckle

Your using this owners aluminum wheels to support the weight of the vehicle ! ? While the car is on the lift ! ? Tell me it ain't so !
The cars not even touching the wheels. there’s an air jack under the front sub frame, relax
How? It should be labeled D for driver's side and P for passenger's side. Or Ad and Ap for American driver's side and American passenger's side.
😂🤦🏻♂️😂🤦🏻♂️😂🤦🏻♂️😂🤦🏻♂️😂🤦🏻♂️
Do you typically put antisieze on the inside mating surface of the rotor?
Not needed.
Dont work on mine anyway. (Filled with mud)
One time you actually used them as part of the traction device right. Been there to my friend !!
When are you gonna do a rim job?
